This was truly an amazing experience. David is a magnificent violinist who held his audience captive the entire time. His arrangements were extensive; from rock to classical and he just kept going from one tune to another. He was very engaging with the audience as well. It didn't hurt that he is HOT and so very easy on the eyes!!!! The orchestra was also superb!!!!
For someone who thinks violins arent cool, they havent seen David Garrett....he is amazingly talented and its a super show that goes by so quickly. Definitely would recommend this show!
Another excellent performance by David Garrett. He continues to be very engaging while on stage as he interacts a lot with the audience. He is a very talented musician. His very capable backup band consisted of two guitars, a bass guitar, keyboard and drums. He introduces nearly every song by name and adds some stories along the way, usually humorous. The concert lasted approx. 2 hours with a mix of classical, popular and rock music. Another superb performance by a very talented musician. Very entertaining and very highly recommended.
David Garrett was great, I really liked seeing him in person. His combination of classic music and rock/cross over made for a special evening. I also loved his funny stories about his adventures on tour.
David Garrett is magnificent. I had been wanting to see David Garrett in concert for a long time and when I saw that he was coming to Chicago I was thrilled. It was the perfect concert for my daughter, who is a singer, and I to attend together. We both loved it. Everything was wonderful. He is a master of his art.

David Garrett is fantastic! This was the first concert I was able to attend and it was great. Everyone should go and see this man. The skill he posses on the violin is unbelievable and how he slips between rock n' roll and classical is unique. The stories he tells between songs makes the concert fun and personal.
David Garrett is incredible...so talented and funny. I would see him again in a minute! Can't wait until he returns to Chicago. And this was my first time at The Chicago Theater. Such a great venue. I think every seat has a great view - we were in the balcony and ended up moving even farther back to some empty seats. It is a close and personal theater.
Incredible performance, by a virtuoso violinist. I still liked the cross over classical pieces better than his interpretation of contemporary pieces.
I have seen a number of Davids concerts . I have enjoyed them all but I think this was my favorite one so far. I enjoyed the mix of classical , rock, and ethnic music.
David Garrett is not only gorgeous to watch, but he is talented beyond belief! His playing is brilliant, and my entire family loved the show. Both my husband and I were moved to tears multiple times, and my 4 year old couldn't take his eyes off the stage. We loved it, and look forward to his return to Chicago!
Saw David Garrett 2 years ago and had to see him again. Was not disappointed. Loved the variety of music presented this time and his non stop energy. The young man is incredibly talented and his band is amazing. Look forward to seeing him again in the future.
This concert was amazing. I learned about his music on tv specials and I absolutely had to see him live when he came to Chicago.
David Garrett was absolutely OUTSTANDING-AWESOME...David is a World Class Performer/Entertainer. David performs for all ages; I am 69, my daughter 45 and my Granddaughter is 16 and we all were entranced and amazed by every stroke of David's bow. A performance I am happy to say my daughter and Granddaughter will fondly remember for years after I am gone.

Great performance by David Garrett and his band. The drum solo was impressive, and of course David brought down the house.
My first David Garrett concert and I will never forget it. He was amazing! I loved his entire performance!! I loved his entrance to the stage as he entered from the main floor entrance playing the music on his violin with the spotlight on him walking up to the stage where he joined his band! I loved every piece he performed and his band performs amazing too!!!! David Garrett and His Band are a great group of musicians who work very well together!!!
David Garrett is such a joy to watch and his band is incredible! Covering everything from classical to rock he makes every song his own with unique and stirring renditions. There are no bad seats in the Chicago Theatre and that's a plus. Loved his stories and jokes - great self-deprecating sense of humor. He plays with such emotion and passion and his band is right there with him every step of the way. This is a can't miss event anytime he comes to the Chicagoland area!
Great band, great sound. I wanted to stay for the 2nd show. Can you say a classical violinist rocked? Well he did!! I will be there the next rime he returns to Chicago!!
