  • Amazing show!

I had a great time at this show. David Garrett is extremely talented. The performance was truly entertaining with a variety of great music from traditional classical music with a twist to Metallica to Led Zeppelin. If David Garrett came back to San Diego, I would definitely go again!

We thoroughly enjoyed the concert, and look forward to seeing him in concert again in the future. I like the venue because it is more intimate than the large arenas.

  • David Garrett is amazing!!!!!

    by Jessi83 on 3/4/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

It was the first concert of him that i saw live and i felt it was to good to be true to see him live and not just on TV. I am from Germany and i never got to see him there live but right now i live in Seattle as an Au Pair and i wanted to see him in Seattle but of course it was sold out to fast that's why i had to come to San Diego.......and it was AWESOME! I cannot wait to go back to Germany and see him in Hamburg and i hope not just there!!! He is a great violin player and i love to hear him playing like many others he makes us cry sometimes cause he is so good in what he is doing and not many people have that gift i think it's a good thing that he is able to do that. He seems to be a very kind, nice and friendly guy that is how the audience (that part where i was sitting) is thinking of him! I hope he will be there for us for a long while and yap that's what i'd like to say...........AMAZING..........please don't stop :D

  • AMAZING!

by Anonymous on 3/4/10Silver Legacy Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

one of the best concerts i have seen to in a long time and trust me, there have been a lot! he played covers of Metallica, ac/dc, Michael Jackson, Queen, and others, along with his own compositions. it was very inspiring, and he got a great reaction from everyone attending. he also told charming little stories about the songs he was about to play, like his inspiration for them or other shows he had played them that he remembered in particular. all in all, a must see! i will definitely see him again.

  • The Magic violin

by CapitanZ on 3/3/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I heard David Garret for the first time when my wife asked me if I knew him. Did my research and found about this child prodigy musician. I bought the Berlin concert video and was mesmerized by his performance. Then found about the concert in San Diego and immediately got two tickets and gave them as Christmas present to my wife. The best investment I have done as a present to her. The day of the event came and wow! he is far more better in person. He has a charming personality and connects to the public right away. From his entrance from behind the audience through the several encores it was a memorable experience. If you like classical music, he is a true gifted violinist that can perform the cleanest variations of Paganini I had ever heard. His technical mastery is only surpassed by his feeling when interpreting his own compositions. If you are open to rock in a new dimension you will be greatly surprised by his arrangements of tunes like Kashmir from Led Zeppelin or smooth criminal from Michael Jackson. David Garret will keep you entertained and your ears will enjoy an incredible performance. A well rounded concert for all tastes. And as my wife said "and he is also very good looking"

  • Amazing David Garrett-MUST SEE

    by Gabrielle28 on 3/2/10Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I see David Garrett in concert and it is a treat. The sound of his violin sounds a thousand times better live. Every note he plays seems to be an extension of his soul. He is wonderful! His audience is diverse and young and old seem to enjoy his music just the same. He has been a great inspiration to my son to continue with music and I am very proud my son sees David as his musical role model. David's good looks are just an added bonus because his talent speaks for itself.

  • Wanderful preformance

by Ducos on 3/2/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

Dvaid was grate. It is refreshing to see a preformer with that talent that is still finding and feeling his way with the audiance. His music is presice and exciting and his selection is not for every one but only for a selective audiance. His music combines the trditional clasic with a refreshing moderen twist as well as moderen pop and rock with a clasic twist. It truly was an special enjoyable evening. A larger orcstra wold have enhansed this unforgettable evning.

  • Loved David Garrett!

by fanmarti on 3/2/10Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show and we had great seats for $30. From the first moment when Mr. Garrett entered from the side of the audience and went up the center aisle to the stage (playing his violin all the way) to the end of the second encore it was a fantastic evening of music. Exceeded our expectations. Loved the band, the engaging stories and comments in between numbers and of course, Mr. Garrett's fantastic violin artistry. I liked seeing a wide variety of age groups in the audience as well. Everyone seemed to respond enthusiastically to the show.

  • David Garrett had my entranced!!!

by ahlasonda on 3/2/10Silver Legacy Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

I was enraptured. His music moves me. I cried, I laughed, I danced in my seat, I even shimmed my shoulders. I would have stood to dance but I was afraid of being escorted out of the Ballroom, and I wouldn't have chanced missing a second of his show!

  • David forever!!

  • Very Good Concert

by ZakM on 3/2/10Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 4 out of 5

This concert would have been incredibly enjoyable if it were not over amplified. The excessive amplification caused distortion of the music and subtracted from the experience.

  • WOW!!
