  • David Garrett was amazing!

    by ChicagoGal26 on 1/30/12The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time at the Chicago Theatre. It is stunningly beautiful and the sound was excellent. David Garrett's show was pure joy. He made it very personable sharing tidbits about his life and travels. He also gave time to his band to share their own music with us which was nice. I went with my daughter who is in college and we were both glad that we chose his concert. His music is fun, engaging and wonderful to listen to. Hearing him perform live puts his concert in our top ten. Everyone should experience his music live at least once.

    by violinlove28 on 1/30/12The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great and the duration time was just enough for a great night. Garrett and his band rocked the night with some new pieces including songs by MJ. He should definitely visit Chi city soon.

One can not help but feel the passion and energy David exhibits for his life's work. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to see David Garrett in Chicago this past weekend - my first visit to The Chicago Theatre - an incredible intimate setting.

I took my 5 year-old and it was so worth seeing! very inspiring! David was very warm and interacted with the audience in a sweet way. He played a lot of new material, too, so we are looking forward to the new album. Great event.

  • David Garrett is the perfect combo Sexy & Talented

by AlexAndDougie on 1/24/12Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show. The venue & stage were a bit smaller that what i.m used to, but he rocked anyway. Him & his band. The only thing i have to say is that it ended too soon. It was such a short concert.

  • Incredible mucisian!!!

by MoMosMaMa on 1/24/12Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 4 out of 5

What an incredible show this was! I only wish it could have been longer! My friend and I braved poor weather to make it to Reno for this show and it was well worth it. Not only is Mr. Garrett and incredible musician, composer and good looking, he has a great sense of humor which he used to entertain us between songs. He told stories of where the thoughts and ideas for different songs and compositions came from. Such beautiful music and he played my favorite song of all time Claire de Lune....I was a very happy lady. I look forward to seeing him again in the future. Hoping to take my 7 year old son the next time.

I would give 10 stars if it would be possible. He is such a great talent and charming by the way. I like his little stories he is counting inbetween his songs. Makes the concert very personalized. I hope he will come to Mexico some day.

I took my son (age 7) and his violin teacher to see this concert. I just wish that David Garrett would have signed autographs for the kids.

  • Worth every penny!

David Garrett’s performance gave justice to the Stradivarius Violin for his mastery of the violin touch with so much passion and emotion. We watched this show to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and this would be marked as the most unforgettable and gratifying celebration.

From the songs to his stories in between songs, everything was terrific. He even brought a lucky woman up on stage and serenaded her with his new song. The concert was intimate and just what I expected.
