American Idol winner and platinum-selling alt-rock crooner David Cook continues to prove he's a cut above the rest with unparalleled energy and first-rate showmanship on tour. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Texas-born, Missouri-raised David Cook began singing in early childhood and took up the guitar at age 13. At 15 he had formed the band Axiom with his high school friend Bobby Kerr. Cook released three albums with the band before moving to Tulsa, OK, where he self-released his solo debut album Analog Heart in 2006. The following year he accompanied his brother to an American Idol audition as a spectator, but ended up trying out himself after a producer noticed him. The The judges were duly impressed and invited him to Hollywood, where he went on to win the show. Following his victory he shattered a Billboard record by landing 11 songs on the Hot 100 chart simultaneously -- the previous record holder was Miley Cyrus, who had 6 concurrent songs on the chart in 2006. Cook made his major label debut on RCA in 2008 with a self-titled album that peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and his success continued in 2011 with his sophomore album This Loud Morning -- another Top 10 hit thanks to hit singles like "The Last Goodbye" and "Fade into Me". A passionate performer known for his energy and authenticity, Cook continues to captivate ticket buyers on tour.

I've seen David Cook several times prior to this show so he never disappoints. This was my first time in St. Louis and also to this venue. The lighting for this show was also awesome!!
This was my 2nd Cook concert. He’s incredible! I’ll definitely make more!
David’s opener Emily was amazing. She is a St. Louis native and has an incredible voice that is a mixture of a young Stevie Nicks and Kelly Clarkson. She took the stage around 8 and played an amazing Smokey Robinson cover. David and his band took to the stage a little after 9 and played an incredible set of old and new music off of his albums, the newest being Chromance which actually came out the day of the concert and completely took my breath away. David makes sure that everyone feels included at his shows. At times he will change the set because someone in the crowd wants a different song. He’ll talk to you in the crowd and if there is a birthday and he hears about it they play some version of the birthday song. I got a chance to meet David during meet and greet and he is a total sweetheart and is so humble and down to earth he made sure several times during the meet and greet and during his set to tell everyone thank you for coming out to support him and that it truly means the world to him. If you ever have the chance to go to a David Cook show do it because I can promise you won’t be disappointed.
I have been to several concerts by David Cook. He is always amazing, this was one of the best! Loved Delmar Hall.
So funny! Audience member made Cook crack up!!! "No kidding!!!" Great show as usual- Cook's sincere appreciation for his fans very touching- he is so relatable. Surprised at average age of the audience! Older set... Cook's voice is true joy!!! Love him always!!! Great venue! ❤️

We had “Meet & Greet” tickets to see David Cook. IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! David is SO talented, funny & witty! He has the warmest heart, too! Before performing “Light On”, he paid tribute to Chris Cornell (one of the co-writers of that song) Along with ChrisCornell/Soundgarden music in the common areas, he said “Chris, if you’re listening, I hope you lie it.”...so adorable. We met him, and I gave him a couple of gifts (that were sentimental to him.) He was so kind,, humble & funny ( and gives the BEST hugs!) He alsotook the time to shake both my husband & son’s hands! Overall, I can only say INCREDIBLE! I couldn’t have loved it more! ❤️
David is an awesome performer. I like the small venues he performs at. He is personable and interacts with the audience beautifully. I love his music and the chrome room was great. I liked the fact that he was on a stage versus his performance at sunset last year. Looking forward to his next Vegas return.
David Cook's show was her entertaining. David engaged the audience. He had humor, personality and charm. His music is superb, awesome, on key, excellent!
First time seeing David Cook and finally - after almost a decade after winning that contest from that TV Show...ha! He's awesome LIVE as expected.
Everything was good, I felt that the sounds of the drums and sometimes the bass were to high that sometimes overshadowed David's voice.
From start to finish this man shows every time what a live music experience is meant to be! Amazing music, lyrics, crowd interaction, and all around good time. Mix of old & new just the right balance. Dave's new music Gimme Heartbreak, Ghost Magnetic, & cover of Another Day In Paradise are breathtaking. Stay tuned for new EP coming soon

If David Cook played for an hour an 15 minutes that would be saying a lot . In an hour and 15 minutes he spent ALOT of time in idle chatter and pushing "Merch" then singing. Threw in one or two of his better songs at the end. Some what smug and disinterested in being there.
David Cook put on a high energy, yet still very personal show in Asbury Park. Even though he is having some vocal cord issues and had to go on vocal rest immediately after the show, he powered through and did not hold back. His new band is very tight and they all sounded great together. He played two songs from his upcoming EP, including his newest single Gimme Heartbreak. Highly recommend.
Show was fantastic, loved the new songs. The drummer, Sam Huff, was amazing!
My first time seeing him!!! Went to the meet and greet, he took his time with each of his fans. He couldn't be any nicer!!!!! Then he comes out to sing........OMG he and the band were phenomenal. I also didn't know he was that funny! He would talk to the crowd and was actually very entertaining!! It was a fantastic night and I can't wait for him to be in my area again. I would highly recommend seeing him play!
If you love live music in a cool venue then you should see David Cook. The shows are intimate because of the small venue. He plays his own songs and 2 covers. One from Fleetwood Mac and one from Phil Collins which were great. Go and support live music.
David Cook is an amazing performer. He engaged the crowd and had a lot of fun. It was very cool to see him in such a small venue, right by the ocean. Awesome summer concert experience. He only played for about an hour, which I was surprised about, but again maybe because it was a smaller venue it was a shorter show. He and his band were terrific to see live.
