When Dave Koz takes the stage, all is quiet as the audience intently listens to every pure note from the seasoned saxophonist. Playing both tenor and alto sax, his fingers glide across the instrument with an ease that can't be matched. Whether he's performing chart-topping hits like "Life In the Fast Lane" and "Put the Top Down" or launching into an epic solo, Koz's grace on the woodwind instrument is exceptional, full of trills, thrills, and spontaneity during his hit-filled set lists. Dave Koz returns to the stage in 2014 for his upcoming Summer Horns tour as well as a string of highly anticipated shows with Barry Manilow.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Starting out in his high school's jazz band, Dave Koz fell in love with the saxophone early on, deciding to pursue music full time after graduating from college. He landed on tour with Bobby Caldwell not long after and served as a studio musician in the '80s before launching his breakout solo career. Since then, Koz has released 15 studio albums — eight of which have reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Jazz chart — and four No. 1 jazz singles. Not only is the nine-time Grammy nominee a sensational saxophonist, but he's also a radio personality, television host, and philanthropist, serving as a Global Ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Koz will delight fans with his smooth jazz sounds on his upcoming tour dates.

This was one of the best concerts I've seen in a long time. Dave Koz and his band were nonstop excitement. If you have an opportunity to see them while they are on tour I highly recommend it; you won't be sorry!
Dave Koz has put together a great group of Summer Horns. The supporting musicians were excellent. You'd never think this was their first live show together. Suggest, you make this group a must see if they happen to visit a city near you.

I wasn’t able to go last year so I was really looking forward to seeing Dave and friends this year. I think I’ve been to all Christmas shows. This one did not disappoint! Can’t wait to go again! Loved this!!!

This artist is fantastic. I’ve been a fan of his since he first started playing Smooth Jazz on the radio! This is my Birthday/ Christmas present every year! The show continually gets better each year!!! This show has been my favorite,so far. He brings Jonathan Butler, his brother-in-music, and other artists. The other multi-talented musicians/artists will blow your mind!!! This is the one show you should not miss!! SPECTACULAR!
I love the Christmas show of Dave Koz and specially Jonathan Butler’s participation. I have been faithfully attended the shows for years. I am a little disappointed this time because I considered the show to repetitive of previous years without any new components, song, or even a new decoration of rhe stage. I really recommend to them to do something new next time or they will lose the interest of faithful fans like me.

We attend several great shows per year. This was by far one of the best. Dave Koz is a superstar!!! His band members were ALL the best in the business. Don’t miss this show whenever it’s in your area. I saw the show at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati. It’s an intimate setting and offers a unique experience to see internationally known performers up close. My wife and I felt fortunate to be there.
Disappointed some what he didn’t sing jazz and the selection sort of took away from the music vibes to me so I left early .To me it was about Koz doing what made him a top saxophone player.
Very upbeat! Great song selection. Wonderful guest vocalist. Sound board had a perfect mix. I wish Dave would have allowed Randy Jenkins to play his classic Bone Shaker hit - Cold Sweat. Overall, it was just a great show. Please come back to the Ludlow Garage!
I totally enjoyed this experience at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati! Smaller crowd and so personal! Dave Koz always comes through with his smile, his music, his emotion and his genuine care of people and his audience! Much loved ! I hope others can enjoy his future concerts as well!
Intimate venue. Dave was excellent. Love the small setting. Wonderful performance.
Dave Koz is always AMAZING and puts on a great show. He and his band were spectacular. What I did not like is specific to the venue; the usher demanding to see my tickets to make sure we knew where our tickets were (we have been coming to the venue for 10+ years). And the same usher berating the crowd about taking photos with a flash. A simple "don't forget folks to ..."would be plenty adequate. And lastly, the concert starting 15 minutes+ late. Don't wait on the late comers. They will learn to be there on time!
The 1st time I saw Dave Koz was over 30 years at a jazz club in Dayton called Gilly's. It was just Dave and his band, and it was an excellent show. Over the past 30 years, I have seen Dave Koz Christmas show every year. I have seen Dave Koz and Friends every year. I have seen Dave Koz and the Summer Horns every year. I have even seen Dave Koz's shows in different countries, on different jazz cruises and his own Dave Koz's cruises. This past Friday, I got to see Dave Koz and just his band play in a jazz club in Cincinnati called Ludlow Garage. He was Amazing!
