Dave Chappelle Live Performance and Tour
Dave Chappelle, mastermind behind sketch comedy goldmine Chappelle's Show, made a triumphant return to stand-up comedy in 2013. While he's beloved for his famous impersonations of Rick James and Prince, Chappelle doesn't rely on old material for his stand-up act, treating fans to an all-original show featuring extensive improvisation as he interacts with audiences. At his 2013 performances on The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival, which he co-headlined with Flight of the Conchords, Chappelle had fans rolling on the floor, building anticipation for his highly coveted 2014 tour dates.

Born David Khari Webber Chappelle in Washington, D.C., Dave Chappelle studied theatre arts in high school before moving to New York City to pursue standup comedy. Despite getting booed off stage at the Apollo Theater's infamous "Amateur Night," he remained resilient, going on to make a name for himself on the New York comedy circuit. Following several successful film appearances in the '90s, including a starring role in 1998 cult classic Half Baked, Chappelle debuted his namesake sketch comedy show on Comedy Central in 2003, finding both critical and commercial success. In 2006 he released Dave Chappelle's Block Party, a concert film set in Brooklyn featuring performances by Kanye West, The Roots, and a temporarily-reunited Fugees.

The Del La Sol event at YS Firehouse was amazing! It’s not just a concert or comedy show but an experience. You feel like you are hanging out in Chapelles basement, it is such an intimate experience that won’t be able to duplicated.
Saw Dave with Marshall Brandon opening. I wasnt familiar with Marshall but I really enjoyed him. Im not sure I can say anything postiive about Dave that hasnt already been said. Brilliant mind and a great person (I'm not friends with him but as a "local"I get to hear about some of Dave's kindness that goes largely under the radar). What a pleasure to see him in such an intimate venue that is off the hook. Yes they have some fine tuning to do like anything new is likely to have. Beyond that, it was a gift to experience that talent up close and personal. Thanks Dave!!!
I have been multiple times and every time is like the first night attending a show It is always amazing!
The idea of taking part to a Chappelle’s show in such a small place like the YS Fire House it’s amazing cause you really feel part of it since your seat is a few feet away from him. He is the GOAT so even if’s not exactly in perfect shape, you are really going to enjoy the show but you could clearly see that he wasn’t exactly at his best that day. We all laughed at his jokes and also the comedian before him was pretty funny but I really hoped to see the bright Chappelle of the Netflix specials (just to give an example).
Great Show, Dave and friends never disappoint! New venue is amazing and even working through all of the quirks of a new venue it’s a great place to go and see a show! No seats are bad seats and all the staff is kind and awesome!
Dave has a really nice place. There was two comedians before Dave performed and they where pretty good ,but of course Dave was excellent. My only complaint is the chairs you sit in are very uncomfortable other than that it was a fun night out for my wife and I.
I live right down the road and can never get tickets for his YS show. They sell out almost immediately. I think I need the back up pop up to the pop up and maybe I could make it in time to get tickets.. ugh
A little late on the review, but I had the privilege of watching the greatest comedian of all time in Atlanta. Dave Chappelle is the funniest man alive. With special guests like T.I. and Kevin Hart, this show was one for the ages.
Dave and all of the other comics were hilarious! The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was the sound quality in the YS Firehouse... it was difficult to hear all of the jokes. The speakers all point directly out from the front of the stage, so if you are on the side of the stage (which is behind the speakers) you have trouble hearing all of the jokes - especially if the comic holds the mic too far from their mouth or speaks softly.
Dave's Saturday show was awesome, per usual. The new club of his is fab! Good size, intimate shows, cool bar, it will be a great place in the warmer months too! Can't wait for more shows!!
Please fix your sound system. If you sit on the sides of the venue you cannot hear. All the speakers face straight out from the stage. We could only hear certain parts of the jokes due to the speakers. This is the reason we are not giving him 5 stars⭐️. Too much money spent to not be able to hear. We all love Dave Chappelle, and would love to see him again. We just hope the sound system will be fixed soon!
Dave Chappelle is the best. His comedy venue is top notch and its like you are hanging with friends while there. I wouldn't pay to see others what I would pay to see him.
The venue is definitely a vibe!! Can't wait until the next event. I will be there for sure!!
Well appointed venue, definitely recommend if you’re thinking of catching a show in Yellow Springs! And of course, Dave’s comedy…priceless!
everything about the whole experience was just amazing!! Dave is the goat!!!
The Firehouse is beautiful inside and out but there weren't as many hairy women with dirty feet as Dave promised, chairs are a little small and the tiddies were too salty in my opinion. If you can get tickets don't hesitate go make some memories with the GOAT.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Chapelle. The atmosphere was chill, the people were friendly, and it was a vibe! I will be back.
Dave really puts has heart out there… every show! I loved the whole vibe and Dave, the other comedians and the music was 🔥.
