One of the best comedians of our generation

by Daniel on 6/11/19Marines Memorial Theatre - San Francisco

I thoroughly enjoyed his comedy. He makes it look so easy. You can really tell he's been doing comedy a long time the way he is able make really good joke's and comments off the top of his head. He's a real pro but most importantly he was hilarious.

    All 3 comedians were excellent

by Bulldozer64 on 12/19/17Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Dana Gould had us laughing so hard we were almost crying. That don't happen too often.

    Another fantastic show

by Toody54 on 12/19/17Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Dana Gould is one of the best stand-ups working today. His show on Saturday, December 16 was no exception. Great material delivered by a talented guy. The feature act was another story altogether. I had seen Emma Arnold once before and barely cracked a smile. When she took the stage that night, I thought I'd give her a second chance. She was worse than before and really should consider another line of work. She channels Chelsea Handler only without the talent. Her material is vulgar, obnoxious and not funny. She goes for the gross-out humor, but you can't be successful at that unless you know how deliver it and with the right stage presence. She lacks all of that.

    He does it again

by LBWe on 11/28/16Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

This is my 3rd time seeing Dana Gould and he impressed me, yet again. He's so funny and clever. He has a interesting take on the world and events that really crack me up. Also, he had a helpful take on the election, which had just happened earlier in the week. I 100% recommend him.

One of the Funniest People on the Planet!

by TSher on 11/18/15Great Scott - Allston

Seeing Dana Gould in such an intimate environment as Great Scott is a once in a lifetime opportunity and illustrates just how funny this man truly can be. His ability to bring humor to topics as tragic as rape reminds us that humor and wit are tools we have at our disposal to deal with pain. I was honestly out of breath with laughter during much of his set and Gould was relentless in hitting funny lines with the timing and pitch of a virtuoso. If you have a chance to see him perform, I implore you to drive, walk, hitchhike, stow away - whatever you need to do to see Dana Gould.

    Absolutely Hysterical!

by NickPapagiorgio on 11/17/15Great Scott - Allston

Venue was small and jammed full, standing-room only unless you were in the first couple dozen inside but nevertheless Dana Gould crushed it. Incredibly funny. Can't recommend enough.

Dana Gould is an amazing performer, and an all around nice guy! I had a blast at this show.

    Insane as always

by Cupping on 11/16/15Great Scott - Allston

Dana Gould never disappoints; always crazy and funny as hell. His humor is dark, quirky and twisted, so I laughed until I cried. He is gracious and adorable.

Gould at the top of his game

by DarkRideHuffer on 10/12/15Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

As a fan of Dana Gould's podcasts and standup for several years, this show was the best showcase I've seen of his dark, witty art. I can't wait to catch him again.

    The King

by StillElectric on 3/20/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Dana Gould is the king at what he does. And the Punch Line is a decent club. Why am I writing a review on a website that no one goes to for reviews?

Punchline establishment is good, the act stunk

by JSkeff on 3/11/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

I've found that comics are hit and miss and this time it was a miss for ALL of the comics. The headliner Dana Gould has his moments of funny, but the 90% of his act was bland, not very funny and went off onto tangents that were more commentary then anything that was humorous. Oh well, comedy is a luck of the draw and I just pulled a 2 and 7.

    Lots of laughs!

by Lautie83 on 3/9/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Leading up to the main event were two wonderful comedic openers. Although unfortunately I don't remember their names. Dana Gould showcased his amazing stand up act and added some unforgettable spontaneous material!

    The warmup was great.

by LA4Jim on 3/19/13Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Took my wife to see Dana Gould at the Punchline in San Francisco. We loved the warmup. Both guys were very funny. Dana ... well. Perhaps it was just an off night. I laughed a couple of times but was otherwise just mildly amused. I would not go and see him again.

    Dana Gould is awesome

by jasonb356 on 3/16/13Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Great show. Second act was really funny too. Only thing I hate about ticketmaster and Live Nation or whatever is they charge you 5 bucks surcharge a ticket, which is totally bogus. Cobbs Comedy you can charge by phone, so they are better in that respect. Punchline box office is only open 3-6 tuesday though friday so it's nearly impossible to escape the ridiculous surcharge that the internet charges you (i.e.-live nation / ticketmaster)
