Damien Escobar on Tour
World-renowned violinist, author and philanthropist Damien Escobar brings a lifetime of musical talent to the stage in 2022 on his Life Out Loud Tour. He's dazzled audiences worldwide, starting at age 8 as a student at The Julliard School, then as a street musician in New York's Grand Central Station and other locales, all the way to his performance at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama. And now, fans can snag tickets to see this two-time Emmy Award winner and violin virtuoso play his signature blend of jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and classical at venues across the United States.
Damien Escobar Live in Concert
Born in the Jamaica, Queens, neighborhood in New York City in 1986, Damien Escobar was destined for a life in music from a tender age. He began playing violin at the age of 8 and showed unparalleled talent as a young musician. By age 10, he began taking weekend classes at The Julliard School as the youngest student ever to be accepted. His brother, Tourie Escobar, was similarly gifted, and the two later studied together at the Bloomingdale School of Music in Manhattan. Around 2003, the two brothers started Nuttin' But Strings and excited audiences by blending classical violin with jazz, R&B and hip-hop. Damien and Tourie gained fame playing in New York hotspots like Grand Central Station and later won a talent night at the Apollo Theater in 2005. The brothers gained momentum as they landed a White House performance for George W. Bush, made it to No. 3 on America's Got Talent in 2008 and later performed at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama in 2009. By 2012, Damien had stopped performing with his brother and earned his real estate license. However, it wasn't long before music called to him again, and Damien finally made his solo debut in 2012. According to Damien, "It all needed to fall apart so I could be forced to grow while putting it back together the right way." And he did put it together the right way because Damien went on to release his first solo album, Sensual Melodies, in 2014, followed by Awaken in 2015, Boundless in 2017, and Songs from a Breakthrough in 2020.
Definitely not your typical slow moving jazz concert. This was a Jazz Party!!!!
This concert was everything!! ALL of the artists were very energetic and worked the crowd. I thoroughly enjoyed this concert. The energy was amazing. Thank you Damien Escobar for your humbleness and talents. One love.
This show was one of the BEST of the season. Had not seen Jeff Bradshaw before and was NOT disappointed. Eric Darius put on a show as usual. He ALWAYS brings unmatched ENERGY to his shows. The Headliner Damien Escobar took his show to another level. Passion, Energy, Showmanship, Musical Excellence were a perfect ending to an exciting evening Jazz!!! Loved every minute of it!
Me and my mother are huge fans of Damien and we have been waiting for him to come to GA. The show was absolutely amazing!!!! The location was nice and clean (in the lawn area, we were all spaced out enough to feel comfortable, but close enough to party together), the staff was great , the other performers and the host were also awesome. I literally have not ONE complaint about anything! I can't wait until he returns, his shows are literally an experience.
Blew us all away during the concert and got the chance to see him up close after all these years lol it was worth the wait he puts on a great show đ i am looking forward to the next tour.
This was my first time to this theater and it was wonderful not a bad seat in the house. Damien is just an amazing artist so very passionate and engaging with the crowd. I went solo and had the most memorable evening! Thank you Damien
Delay for an hour was to much. An opening act would have be good like he had before. Overall it was very entertaining.
I waited almost 3 years to see this young man perform. It was well worth the wait.
I love Damien, I really hope he can come back soon, beautiful music
The show was very personal and up close. I love the show. It took 3 years for him to get to Fort Lauderdale, but it was worth the wait.
After the concert being scheduled so many times. It was well worth the wait. Took my mom as my date. This was her first violin concert and she loved it. Damien is amazing. đĽ°
Wasnât impressed, started over 1hr late. Kept telling crowd to have patience and he had nothing to do the next dayâ- yet we do we had work and wasnât there to hear what sounded like recorded tracks. Very disappointing.
I took part in the meet and greet which was a nice intimate experience. First time attending Damien's concert and being in the Amaturo Theatre. Amazing concert and great venue.
Damien Escobar is a talented violinist. I was there to see the legend Gladys Knight, but when Damien was added to bill I was looking forward to his set. My sister has seen Damien multiple times, so I was aware of him. He didn't disappoint, his stage present and energy is electric and his ability to engage and include the audience participation was good, especially when he came back out to play walking thru the audience. Kudos to the drummer, DJ
Wonderful performance and great band! Only wish he had played longer. I want more!
All I Can Say Is My God! God Has Truly Blessed Damien.. From Watches His Lives On Social Media To The Stage!!! What A Blessing Much Blessed Success â¤ď¸
This was my first time seeing Damien but it most certainly will not be the last. He was fantastic!
Would have been better if it hadnât been raining and the ticket scanners had not gone down. We had to stand in the rain for about 10 minutes without any covering (thank goodness I had an umbrella) while we waited for the ticket scanner device being used had not gone down. Would love to see a more reliable and quicker way to get in the venue.
All the lines were way too long and too slow. Ticket prices were ridiculous.
Truly enjoyed his show. Will definitely see him perform again.
