Damien Escobar on Tour
World-renowned violinist, author and philanthropist Damien Escobar brings a lifetime of musical talent to the stage in 2022 on his Life Out Loud Tour. He's dazzled audiences worldwide, starting at age 8 as a student at The Julliard School, then as a street musician in New York's Grand Central Station and other locales, all the way to his performance at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama. And now, fans can snag tickets to see this two-time Emmy Award winner and violin virtuoso play his signature blend of jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and classical at venues across the United States.
Damien Escobar Live in Concert
Born in the Jamaica, Queens, neighborhood in New York City in 1986, Damien Escobar was destined for a life in music from a tender age. He began playing violin at the age of 8 and showed unparalleled talent as a young musician. By age 10, he began taking weekend classes at The Julliard School as the youngest student ever to be accepted. His brother, Tourie Escobar, was similarly gifted, and the two later studied together at the Bloomingdale School of Music in Manhattan. Around 2003, the two brothers started Nuttin' But Strings and excited audiences by blending classical violin with jazz, R&B and hip-hop. Damien and Tourie gained fame playing in New York hotspots like Grand Central Station and later won a talent night at the Apollo Theater in 2005. The brothers gained momentum as they landed a White House performance for George W. Bush, made it to No. 3 on America's Got Talent in 2008 and later performed at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama in 2009. By 2012, Damien had stopped performing with his brother and earned his real estate license. However, it wasn't long before music called to him again, and Damien finally made his solo debut in 2012. According to Damien, "It all needed to fall apart so I could be forced to grow while putting it back together the right way." And he did put it together the right way because Damien went on to release his first solo album, Sensual Melodies, in 2014, followed by Awaken in 2015, Boundless in 2017, and Songs from a Breakthrough in 2020.

My Daughter plays violin and is so inspired by Mr. Escobar's wonderful mastery of the violin! He plays like no other violinist; his music is beautiful, and carries your spirit to a different level of appreciation. He puts his own spin on classical, hip hop, R & B and his own compositions are amazing! Going to see Damien Escobar was a graduation gift to my daughter, but now I am a fan for life. Thank you Mr. Escobar for a beautiful, amazing show we will never forget!
The wait after show for autograph was a bit too long for the more mature crowd. He should be considerate of the fact that he has a more mature following and we have elments. Hard to stand that long.
I loved his performance. He is truly an amazing artist.
It was fantastic up beat a very hard working prefomer.
He is quite the performer. He went so hard he popped a string and the hairs were just flying off his bow. You could just feel the love in his music and it radiated throughout the theater

To love music is to love Damien! He is an absolutely amazing violinist! I love his passion! He put on a great show in Dallas. The venue, the sight, the sound, the audience - everything was AMAZING! I love the way he interacts with audience and makes them a part of the show. His humbleness will forever keep his fan club going strong. This was my first time seeing him live, and I was just blown away. I would go to his show everyday if I could. #teamDamien #croonernation

Damien was a complete entertainer. He kept us engaged the entire time. His mannerism and showmanship are awesome! If you have never been to one of his concerts, you are missing out. Buy that ticket the next time he's in your town. Violinist Beast!!!
What a performance! Truly a class act. Go see this concert.
My first time experience, and he put on an awesome show. Crowd participation was great he was phenomenal!
Phenomenal performance! His music is heartfelt. He is charismatic, humble, and captivating. Never a dull moment.
He played such sexy music with that violin!!! Loved it!!! Can't wait to see him again!!!
His violin was definitely the star of the show!!!!
This concert was, by far, one of my favorite of all time. The rather small, intimate setting of the House of Blues made everything even better. When Damien plays its almost like he is channelling an energy from deep within himself. He plays with such passion it is a treat for the eyes and ears. AS FAR AS HOUSE OF BLUES, DALLAS GOES....it is a nice venue but do NOT spend any extra money solely for what they refer to as their "Priority Entrance"... you do NOT "Skip The Line" as they advertise - Everyone waits in the same line but if you pay for priority entrance, you get to cut to the front of the line.
This show was awesome, Damien puts his heart, soul and passion into this show...AWESOME!!
