Damien Escobar on Tour

World-renowned violinist, author and philanthropist Damien Escobar brings a lifetime of musical talent to the stage in 2022 on his Life Out Loud Tour. He's dazzled audiences worldwide, starting at age 8 as a student at The Julliard School, then as a street musician in New York's Grand Central Station and other locales, all the way to his performance at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama. And now, fans can snag tickets to see this two-time Emmy Award winner and violin virtuoso play his signature blend of jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and classical at venues across the United States.

Damien Escobar Live in Concert

Born in the Jamaica, Queens, neighborhood in New York City in 1986, Damien Escobar was destined for a life in music from a tender age. He began playing violin at the age of 8 and showed unparalleled talent as a young musician. By age 10, he began taking weekend classes at The Julliard School as the youngest student ever to be accepted. His brother, Tourie Escobar, was similarly gifted, and the two later studied together at the Bloomingdale School of Music in Manhattan. Around 2003, the two brothers started Nuttin' But Strings and excited audiences by blending classical violin with jazz, R&B and hip-hop. Damien and Tourie gained fame playing in New York hotspots like Grand Central Station and later won a talent night at the Apollo Theater in 2005. The brothers gained momentum as they landed a White House performance for George W. Bush, made it to No. 3 on America's Got Talent in 2008 and later performed at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama in 2009. By 2012, Damien had stopped performing with his brother and earned his real estate license. However, it wasn't long before music called to him again, and Damien finally made his solo debut in 2012. According to Damien, "It all needed to fall apart so I could be forced to grow while putting it back together the right way." And he did put it together the right way because Damien went on to release his first solo album, Sensual Melodies, in 2014, followed by Awaken in 2015, Boundless in 2017, and Songs from a Breakthrough in 2020.

It was great to be in the fresh air and hear such beautiful music! The setting was perfect, the audience was very appreciative of the music. And Damian Escobar was equally happy to see us!

  • A different kind of sexy...

by L. G. on 6/15/21Blue Note Napa at Charles Krug Winery - St. HelenaRating: 5 out of 5

Damien Escobar nestled in an intimate winery setting was all and everything I needed as my first live concert since coming out of Covid Quarantine. The vibe just fit. The violin strings echoing through the crowd had us singing the lyrics under the dim outdoor lighting. The only thing that was shining bright was Damien's stage presence, violin and his live band. I could not have imagined a better night. Thank you Damien Escobar and Charles Krug Winery for bringing the Blue Note Napa outdoors! 'Twas sexy!

  • Escobar is Eccentric

by HarlemQueen on 12/18/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This is my 2nd time seeing Damien Escobar perform and this show was amazing. Damien doesn't Disappoint. I LOVE how engaging and transparent he is with the audience. The message was LOVE and it was well received. However, THE BEST PART, I enjoy him walking around and giving the ladies flowers but this night he stood in front of me and played the violin making me feel like it was a private concert, with me as the only woman in the room being serenaded by the music. Escobar is Eccentric and definitely brought the Elements of Love. Really sad that he wont be doing a tour in the NYC for 2020 but he needs to be shared with the world. Keep on moving, Damien and God willing I'll see you in 2021.

  • Wasn't a violin fan.

  • Damien Escobar was wonderful

by Jonathan L on 12/18/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Damien is a wonderful violinest and an excellent showman. Moving his yearly xmas show to the much more intimate Sony Hall was inspired. All in all an excellent afternoon.

  • True performer

by Ms. Kay on 12/18/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Damien Escobar was truly a remarkable performer. He and his band mesmerize you and getting VIP tickets was worth every penny. The sound and the visual effects were all on point. The only complaint I have for the venue is that for $120+ for VIP seating, the VIP signage was sloppy and carelessly made.

  • Great show at Sony

I couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. The show (Damien), the audience, the lighting and sound, all in point. The drinks were a little expensive but very much worth it! Cudos to the bartender! Great time at Sony with Damien Escobar!

  • Damien Escobar Elements Of Love Tour 2019

by Kimmie on 12/14/1920 Monroe Live - Grand RapidsRating: 4 out of 5

Damien Escobar, I had the pleasure of attending Damien first tour to Grand Rapids Michigan two year’s ago, which was awesome, experiencing his smooth jazzy talent. This Elements of Love tour show was great, he incorporated a little more R&B selections. I must say he’s a very diverse talented violinist. Looking forward to him coming back with those smooth jazzy tunes that he/we can really feel. True Elements of Love Songs.

  • Great show. Damien encouraged audience participation.

House party vibe. Audience enthusiasm, audience engagement and participation, and genuine joy throughout the performance. Music was excellent. I would attend his next show.

  • Great concert, talented musician, electric night

by KayGrace on 10/19/19House of Blues San Diego presented by Cricket Wireless - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Damien Escobar is truly a talented musician. We thoroughly enjoyed the night. The concert was amazing. The music was outstanding and the sound quality was impressive. My husband and I saw him at The House of Blues in San Diego, CA. The venue was intimate, so it allowed Damien to really interact with his audience. At one point, he disappeared from the stage and emerged playing his violin out on the floor. That was beyond electric. Of course, some people were freaking out (me included). There was "electricity in the air" that night, and it will forever be a great memory for my lifetime. Thanks for the show.

Such a great show. It inspired me to purchase a violin.
