Damien Escobar on Tour
World-renowned violinist, author and philanthropist Damien Escobar brings a lifetime of musical talent to the stage in 2022 on his Life Out Loud Tour. He's dazzled audiences worldwide, starting at age 8 as a student at The Julliard School, then as a street musician in New York's Grand Central Station and other locales, all the way to his performance at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama. And now, fans can snag tickets to see this two-time Emmy Award winner and violin virtuoso play his signature blend of jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and classical at venues across the United States.

Born in the Jamaica, Queens, neighborhood in New York City in 1986, Damien Escobar was destined for a life in music from a tender age. He began playing violin at the age of 8 and showed unparalleled talent as a young musician. By age 10, he began taking weekend classes at The Julliard School as the youngest student ever to be accepted. His brother, Tourie Escobar, was similarly gifted, and the two later studied together at the Bloomingdale School of Music in Manhattan. Around 2003, the two brothers started Nuttin' But Strings and excited audiences by blending classical violin with jazz, R&B and hip-hop. Damien and Tourie gained fame playing in New York hotspots like Grand Central Station and later won a talent night at the Apollo Theater in 2005. The brothers gained momentum as they landed a White House performance for George W. Bush, made it to No. 3 on America's Got Talent in 2008 and later performed at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama in 2009. By 2012, Damien had stopped performing with his brother and earned his real estate license. However, it wasn't long before music called to him again, and Damien finally made his solo debut in 2012. According to Damien, "It all needed to fall apart so I could be forced to grow while putting it back together the right way." And he did put it together the right way because Damien went on to release his first solo album, Sensual Melodies, in 2014, followed by Awaken in 2015, Boundless in 2017, and Songs from a Breakthrough in 2020.
Damien's showmanship is spectacular. A true musician with a fabulous band. Great show. Not my first time seeing him. God willing, it won't be my last. I travel across states to see his shows.
It was my first time seeing him perform live and it was a GREAT concert! It left me wanting more! I can’t wait until he comes back again! He is now on my annual concert list!

Damien Escobar is a great performer. The show in Atlanta on 11/20 was a great experience. He had the crowd dancing all evening!
Damien did NOT disappoint! He gave all he had! He even fell while giving it! He swallowed his pride and continued giving one of the best shows I’ve ever experienced! Come back to the ATL soon!
Ticketing was the easiest part of the night, a simple scan and go allowed me to find my seats and get to the event easily. The concert was the best I’ve ever experienced! Damien Escobar knows exactly how to put on a show!!
Damien always gives 120% of himself in every performance absolutely love his energy (sending you healing prayers for your ankle) This is my 1st time at this venue and the seats were so amazing people watching by my IG live felt like they were seating next to me. And the friends I went with me will be talking about this concert for life because she got to hold on to Damien's hand.
Damien Escobar put on an outstanding concert Saturday night. It was worth the long wait due to the pandemic postponement. He showed up and showed out the whole night. I never miss his concert when he’s here in Atlanta. If you’ve never seen him perform, it’s a must on your bucket list.
Full of energy, beautiful music and an excellent show make for one amazing night. We will be counting the days for his return, so we can do it all over again.
The concert was AWESOM!E!! It started with Redeem, who was fantastic. Damien never disappoints. He fell on stage and hurt his ankle but that did not stop the show. He even came out into the audience with the hurt ankle. Great showmanship!!!!
Damien again didn't disappoint. The fact that he fell while spinning around, added to his performance as he smoothly incorporated it. The length of his performance definitely made up for the concert being rescheduled more than once.
Damian gave a his all to us and shared how life was for him during the pandemic. He gave a electric grown and sexy evening with his music.
This was my first time at this venue Center Stage also my 1st time seeing Damien Escobar in concert, the venue was nice and concert was great, easy to get in and out of.
Even after Damien felled on stage, the show still went on
He is so very talented young man, I have seen him 4 times and loved every one of them
Overall the performance was great! The only two negatives that I have are 1) the opening act was not introduced and did not see to go with the venue; 20 the videographer was very distracting and did not need to be on stage blocking the audience.
Damien is the best jazz violinist out there today. Scored an “A+“ on this date night. It was a surreal experience.
It was a wonderful evening, first starting with the opening act Redeemed. Every time Damien Escobar comes to the area we are in the house. He is enchanting and never disappoints. Waiting for his next time in the DMV!!
