if you pre-sale tickets and advertise that with an adult you get one free child. Realize that when your tickets sales get to a certain amount, you need to hire more people to work, ticket taking, security and parking lot exiting. I got in line to get in at 6:40 & missed the first 15 minutes of the game. and after the game the parking lot traffic jam was ridiculous,

Poorly prepared for the crowd
by Zouaves on 6/17/17Maryland Soccerplex - BoydsRating: 2 out of 5Waited in line for close to an hour, including the first 30 minutes of the game.
Great match!
by McIntyreJr on 6/17/17Maryland Soccerplex - BoydsRating: 5 out of 5Great match. Christos put up a great fight. The only downside was some of the Christos fans who were very drunk, rude and obnoxious. They have no problem using bad language in front of children. Would not want Christos back because of their fans.
Good game
by Hugoa12 on 6/6/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5I really loved the game even if there were no goals the game was good.

Pretty awesome time attending my first MLS game in the DC area. Although RFK is kind of old, it still boast the excitement attending a sporting event.
Good Game
by BigBoomKC on 5/23/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5Very enjoyable experience. RFK stadium is clearly pretty dated, but the crowd's energy and the food service and variety were excellent, making the game very enjoyable overall. I'd absolutely go again. My kids loved it!
Big and bigger security guards blocked my view
by timmarch on 5/23/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5I couldn't see half the field because the big and bigger security guards were blocking my view. They refused to move even after repeated requests throughout the game. I may as well have paid for obstructed view seats even though I was in the second row.
Awesome Game
by SoccerMom111 on 4/11/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5Loved the game and the seats were great. When I bought the tickets I did not think it would be these goods. The tool for the view on each seat is great.
Awsome
by Edvid on 4/11/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5I had so much fun, I will go again for next game and bring my friends with me. DC United soccer players are so good.

D.C. United was a waste of money
by jfish43 on 4/11/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5My family are huge soccer fans. All three of our boys play soccer for our school modified and varsity teams. We have even been to see a game in Italy while traveling abroad. I can say definitively that this game was a complete waste of time and money. First, let me say from a stadium viewpoint, that RFK stadium is in complete ruins. This place needs to be torn down and a new stadium rebuilt. I know that there are discussion in the works on this, but it definitely detracts from the experience. Second, the level of soccer was very poor. We ended up choosing this game over a Georgetown college soccer game, and left feeling very disappointed that we missed Georgetown. We are from upstate New York, and have seen several Syracuse University soccer games, which were much better than this game. Third, the fans, which ones that were there, also take away from the game. Throwing beer in the air when a goal is scored might sound like fun to some people, but is really rude to those fans who just want to watch and enjoy the game. My wife and kids weren't very happy about having to go out to dinner after the game with beer in their hair.
A weird experience....
by Penelope9220 on 4/4/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5I've never been to one of DC United's games before. Decided to take my daughter and her friend since they are soccer fanatics. What I didn't know, that we quickly learned, is that when the DC United team scores a goal, people in the stands, lots of them, throw their beer cups, with beer still in the cup, in the air, spraying beer all over who is around them. This was unpleasant, as they are minors and then were smelling like they had spent the evening in a bar somewhere. Also, the language is awful. But hey, it's a competitive sport game, in public, people get excited. The food was terrible. It was expensive and cold. The team, however, was very good, fun to watch, and I would like to see them again sometime. I'm not likely to attend another event at this location. May try again if/when the new stadium is complete.
Underwhelmed in DC
by ItalianMama on 3/21/17RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5Stadium and surrounding area are in bad shape--surprisingly so. Relatively easy to get to the stadium via metro but not worth the time and $ when there are so many other options for entertainment/tourism in the DC area. My teenagers were less than thrilled with the evening.
RFK is a sad place
by DCfoodman on 10/30/16RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5The game was a dissappointment but the venue was so much worse. DC United didn't come out to play but so be it, there is always next year. RFK is the problem - it shot be taken out and shot. The food service was awful, and especially at the prices. Five minutes to half tome and they haven;t got burgers near ready? Other food venues were hardly better. DId like the pupusas.
Ticketmaster changing the ticket purchasing game
by ZacharyTrout on 10/30/16RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5So, 5 stars.... I believe that Ticketmaster deserves 5 stars because on Thursday October 27th, after getting home from work 2 hours late due to terrible traffic I forgot to grab the tickets when I rushed inside my house to change and get back on the road to make kickoff and the hopes of a few minutes tailgating with the SE... I realized 20 minutes down the road I did not grab my brothers ticket nor my own ticket.... crap. So instead of panicking I said "so..... I messed up" to my brother. Great... Cherry on top of my day.. right? Then, as I was accepting defeat and understanding that I not only sat in an extra 2 hours of traffic today but I will most likely miss the whole first half of DC United... (295 traffic to the stadium) But then I realized it's 2016 so maybe Ticketmaster lets you convert your printed tickets to your iPhone's wallet app or something.. ya know... because people like me forget their physical tickets like (insert percentage here) of the time so I went to my e-mail and to my surprise I could in fact do what I just described even though I already printed physical tickets. You can't really do much better than that so 5 stars feels pretty fair. Plus... Ticketmaster saved me a headache... I'm not sure I can put a price on avoiding frustration, let alone a headache. Hats off to you Ticketmaster. Too bad we lost... Next year :) Vamos United.

Awful game just awful awful awful awful awful awful
A great game on a warm afternoon
by Belgaboy on 10/19/16RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5DC United's first half was arguably the best of the season. The team outclassed NYFC and played very well collectively. Acosta proved once more to be an outstanding play-maker with superior technical abilities. He made all the difference in midfield. The team slowed down in the second half but never looked like it was going to let the victory slip away. DC United is now play off-bound and given the quality of this afternoon's performance, it can legitimately have high hopes for the rest of the competition. Only the Red Bulls seem to be a better team in the East right now, but not by much.
great game
by clkva1 on 10/19/16RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5Fun game; happy of course that DCU won. Watching a friend on the team makes it special too. And I'm kind of glad they haven't upgraded the stadium as that's probably helping keep ticket prices lower. Always a good thing. Good food at the concession stands too.
Good Game, but Mediocre Service
by BTWily on 10/19/16RFK Stadium - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5Went to this game with my father. I was frustrated first by the pace with which the security staff worked. I do not begrudge their presence; I completely agree they need to be there, -!: I'm thankful they are. However, the staff in our line seemed more focused on socializing amongst themselves then moving people through the lines and into the park. After that, I headed into the park, and we wanted to get some food. After waiting in two different lines, we got to the front of the line only to find find that the stand did not have the food we wanted due to the fact that their fryers were broken. This happened at two different stands, but the staff at the stand did not make an attempt to put up signs along the lines to let people know. We wasted a lot of time standing in line, and we missed the first 15mins of the game. Overall, it was a nice day out, but the food service left something to be desired.
