About

Cypress Hill has long represented the will of the people. With over 18 million albums sold worldwide, the Los Angeles trio of rappers B -Real, Sen Dog and producer DJ Muggs have continued to push rap's boundaries since their inception in the early 90s.

With their eponymous debut album in 1991, B -Real and Sen Dog established themselves as one of rap's most potent duos. Their creative phrasing, distinctive voices and graphic subject matter, coupled with DJ Muggs' atmospheric, piercing and dusty beats, propelled the trio to international superstar status.

In 2010 Cypress Hill will release their 8th studio album, ‘Rise Up' produced by Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, and featuring the talents of Pete Rock, Daron Malakian, Mike Shinoda, Apathy, Pitbull, Marc Anthony and more. ‘Rise Up' is the trio's first release under the Snoop Dogg administration at Priority Records.

As the years have passed, the crew's dynamic stage show - bolstered in 1994 by the addition of percussionist Eric Bobo (also of Beastie Boys fame) - has evolved into one of raps most polished, as such intense tunes, ‘Insane In The Brain', ‘Rock Superstar', ‘How I Could Just Kill A Man', ‘We Ain't Goin' Out Like That', ‘Lick A Shot' and ‘Real Estate' translated perfectly to the stage. Given this reality, it's little surprise that Cypress Hill remain a major concert draw, even when they take time off between albums.

In 2010 Cypress Hill bring that legendary live show to Australia for a national tour and to headline the Coaster Festival at Gosford, on the NSW Central Coast.

Rise Up is in store now through Priority Records and EMI Australia.

    The Greatest Of All Time

by Roberto187 on 11/3/15The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

They never disappoint, no matter what. Plus the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Temples of Boom was in full effect. Truth be told, never miss out when the squad is in town.

    So much FUN!!

by FedesGirl on 11/2/15The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

They sounded so good! The bass was vibrating, their voices were just how I heard on the radio, plus they played all their old songs that I wanted to hear. SO glad I decided to go.

    Immortal killed it!

by Katvayne on 11/2/15Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

Traveled almost 8 hours to see Immortal Technique and he made it worth it. Cypress Hill took the stage after and tore down the house also. Bravo

Simply amazing performance by cypress hill, I kissed seeing them in my youth and didn't want to miss this opportunity but was expecting them to be a little more laid back with age and they sounded better now then they did back then, b-reals performance was simply amazing, he hasn't age a bit and hasn't lost a beat, would see them many more times

    Cypress HIll Kicked Ass!

by michellelee731 on 10/30/15Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I've been to a fair amount of shows in my life but this was the absolute best show I've ever seen. From the moment they appeared on stage CH killed it. They played everything I wanted to hear and the crowd was so into it. If I had the money I'd be on my way to NYC to see them tonight.

The delay in getting the show underway sucked...... The opening act; 100 Proof (I think they were called) were NOT the approriate group to have at a stoner concert! They played a song called "Bring the Violence" really? At a stoner concert??? Killed everyone's high man....... Anyways Cypress Hill kicked ass!

Awesome show and actually got to meet and take pics with Sen Dog. Husband is a huge fan and it was the perfect venue. Only drawback was they went on stage late.

Cypress Hill at HOB San Diego:

by Spliff69 on 4/20/14House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

This joint totally blew me (and audience) out. My first House of Blues (HOB) concert and its got it all ! What an intimate venue, in which I can't believe CH could play. As this a basic small stage setting no real props set up (i.e., the inflatable Budda); but who cares ? It was the music and artists we wanted.... and the bare bones set showcased them. Did they deliver !! I was really blown away by Breal's physical conditioning...at least 30 pounds lighter than he looks on video, the Smokebox, etc. And man did he move....prowling that stage without stop. The voice was better than I could imagine too. These guys seem to have frozen time in place, as Sen-Dog is strong as ever and his baritone voice kept the dominant punch to foil B's nasal tone to perfection all night. The early placement of Insane in membrane caught me by surprise, but I totally see making the finale Rock Superstar. The mini-stoner set of Wanna get High, Hits from the bong, Dr Greenthumb and Illusions was sweet too. My only wish was that they could add a reprise verse to Tequila sunrise--one of my favs--but just too short :( Sound quality excellent too, you could actually make out the vocal lyrics perfectly---something VERY rare for Rap group shows usually. Another cool thing was the L.A. >> S.D. coastal vibe....pure Cali connections going on for this native state band from up the I-5. Sure hope B keeps the promise to make San Diego an annual stop....especially with the new album coming out.

Cypress Hill: The Greatest Of All Time

by PaisanoRob on 12/19/13Howard Theatre - Washington

It was our first time at Howard Theatre and it was legit. I've seen Cypress dozens of times all over the country. They once again, killed it as expected. They've never disappointed since day one and they're STILL outdoing the majority, if not all acts in the game.
