  • Curtis Salgado

by Paul S on 8/20/22Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club - PortsmouthRating: 5 out of 5

Curtis Salgado is one of the finest singer/song writers alive today. Being from Portland, Oregon he doesn’t make it to the east coast very often so I take the opportunity to see him whenever possible. His band has changed throughout the years but it’s always a group of world class musicians. Don’t miss the chance to see Curtis live. You won’t be disappointed.

  • Curtis Salgado - WOW

    by CB09242011 on 5/4/12Rhythm Room - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

It has been years since I have seen Curtis Salgado live - I hoped that my memory did not fail me as to his strong and charismatic voice. Curtis did not disappoint - rather - he was truly amazing and on top of his vocal / harmonica game. The band was fantastic, as well... strong vocals and chords.

  • More than 20 years of the Blues

Wow...This was the second time I had the pleasure of hearing Curtis perform...and let me say WOW again. His voice is so smooth and gruff at the same time--I could listen to him sing all night long. The band...the band...the band...kudos to the blues guitar player (I didn't catch his name) the boy could play, gotto give some to the drummer, keyboard player and I have to give the bass guitar player a shout out too. All together one of the best single groups shows I have ever been too. Small club HUGE band. Well done, Curtis, can't wait for your return.
