    Good show

by AnneMS on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

My son is only 3 but we took him since he loves George. The show itself was great. A little long for a 3 yr old. My complaint is about the venue-Target Center They sell mylar balloons at intermission..beware..they make you shove it under your seat for the 2nd half of the show...my 3 yr old was not happy about that. The popcorn was the saltiest -greasiest I have ever had...obvisiously they are trying to sell drinks too. The $8 lemonade was basically WATER with a lemon floating inside. Do not buy these items!!!

The show was fun and exciting to watch. Bring earplugs as it was a bit on the loud side.

    Curious George Live

by MomofGerogeFan on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

Kids had a great time (2 & 5 yr olds) - they loved the music - and stood by there seats dancing through the entire show. It was a little more low-key than the disney events that we've been to, and the prices on the t-shirts, balloons, etc were more reasonable.

Wouldn't recommend for kids under 5

by AuntSara on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

The show was ok, lots of singing and dancing, but I expected more engagement of the audience. We took my 4 year old niece and her 2 year old cousin. They seemed bored after the first 1/2 hour. The characters came down off stage but didn't go past the front row. They could've done more with the characters moving through the crowd. Also, I would've liked to see them involve the audience in the show more - could've worked in audience participation when dancing, counting, cheering, etc to keep kids engaged.

This show was great, I was so amazed at how much the voices of the characters sounded like the actual show. I little too much singing for my son, but over all a great experience.

The reason I said I would not recommend the event is that it was too loud. This is an event for kids, turn down the volume. We were sitting in the third row on the main floor and every child in front of us and as far back as we could see were covering their ears because it was too loud. This isn't a rock concert. TURN DOWN THE VOLUME!!!

    Awesome

by kookatt on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

We loved the play. All four of the kids with us loved it. They actually sat still thru the whole thing, usually at least once they want to get up and go somewhere. It was so enjoyable that it went by so fast, before we knew it it was over. Loved it.

    good show

by tessajay on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

We took our 4 1/2 year old & 2 year old to see the show. It had lots of dancing and singing which the kids enjoyed, but they got a little antsy toward the end of the show. Overall it was a good show and everyone enjoyed it.

    kinda boring...

by Bellabo on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

My three year old granddaughter loved most of it, but there were certainly times that she was ready to "go home". Music was great...singers were great, but the story line was hard for little ones to follow. Would recommend this for 5 year olds...but it is 3 year olds who love George.

    Curious George Live

by elmomommy on 11/22/10Target Center - Minneapolis

Overall I'd say this show was pretty good. My almost three year old enjoyed the show for the most part. The plot was a little hard for her to understand but there was enough of items to still hold her attention. I was happy there was a plot to the show though. I recently went to a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show and this was way better than that. However, it still did not measure up to Elmo shows for the younger ones. The plot maybe was for a little older child but I'd still recommend the show for those around age 3 as there was still plenty happening on the stage. I do think there needed to be more sales people though as during intermission trying to buy items the lines were way too long and you'd have to wait in line and the show started by then and was partly missed by me trying to get a souvenir. However, the souvenir prices weren't bad...$10-$15 for a t-shirt and $5 for a lite up Curious George star.

Everyone in the family, from ages 3 - 40, really enjoyed the show. Great singing, an actual plot you could follow, a bit of humor, and of course George made this a great experience for the whole family!

    Curious George was lukewarm

by AuntieKeeks on 11/22/10Target Center - Minneapolis

This is more like a musical and less like the kind of kids show that gets kids up in the aisles dancing. With only one animal character surrounded by several humans, I think it appeals to slightly older kids. It was tough to hold the attention of my three year-old. It could be improved with more interaction with the kids and more animal characters.

    by Kreese0707 on 11/22/10Target Center - Minneapolis

It was so much fun! My 2 year old daughter had a blast..It was a little more musical that I expected but it was good. They didn't have a whole lot of Curious George stuff to buy which was kind of disappointing but overall it was a great experience.

    Curious George Live

by AMNmom on 11/22/10Target Center - Minneapolis

I brought my 3 year old to Curious George Live this past weekend and we had a blast! She danced through the whole show! They gave out FREE chef's hats which the kids loved! She wants to wear the shirt we bought 24/7! Great show! Highly recommended! Only con was late people, the show should make those late people wait for intermission to find their seats, or find open seats in the back. Many people were complaining about the late people (obviously not the show's fault!) But they could have required them to wait so as not to disturb people who were actually on time...
