    Don't waste your time

by sintak on 5/25/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Curious George's face should have been covered. There was an audience member who had a better costume than him. He also should watch the show some more; he does not do those moves. Also, the show is not a musical, one or two songs would have been fine; I think it took away from the lesson that the show offered. The length was perfect. Would not recommend it; it was not what I expected.

    Disappointing

by Ygaspring on 5/25/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Within the first few minutes my husband and I knew this was a waste of money. Within the first 15 minutes our son wanted to leave. We couldn't get past the poor Curious George costume, it could have been as simple as getting a real monkey costume as well as making some familiar monkey noises. The flow from one scene to another was a bit disconnected.

    Curious George

by jonipony on 5/25/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

This is an okay production--The characters are energetic and the "play" is fast-paced. However the speaking voices seemed muffled so the story line was difficult to follow.. because of that I believe the younger children in the audience (and there were many) were bored. After 1/2 hour many of the children were restless, whining or falling asleep. Perhaps more audience participation would have made this performance more enjoyable.

    What were they thinking!!!

by SMDHF on 5/25/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

The actor who played George was in a brown track suit. Not relatable to children as he was not wearing a monkey costume and mask. Let's just say there was something extremely perverted about this actor. I had other friends see the show and they said the same thing. This is a children's show and the actor should have put on underwear. It was disgusting.

my grandson age 3 enjoyed himself

by Melmerrill3 on 2/13/15Old National Events Plaza (formerly the Centre) - Evansville

It was a cute show. I was a little disappointed that I told my little guy he could get a souvenir and a snack at the show and neither was available. Might have just been this venue...

Curious George good for little ones

by ASDMom on 12/7/10Target Center - Minneapolis

I took my 6-year-old son to see Curious George Live. It was his first live performance. He liked the music and dancing. The plot was written just like the TV shows. I, however, was bored silly. Still, it was a fun outing overall.

This show was wonderful!!! The singing was fabulous. We got goosebumps listening to the voices! The dancing and acting blew us all away. Was just like watching the George our little one is used to seeing on PBS and in the movie. She was soooooooo happy and so were we! Definitely should go see it!!! Wish it had played more days.

    Pretty Entertaining

    by Momma2Toddler on 11/24/10Target Center - Minneapolis

So our son ( 2 1/2) enjoyed this, but we left pretty soon after the intermission. We purchased the least expensive ticket, so didn't mind leaving. Our son enjoyed the music and dancing, but some of the songs were too slow and bored him. Overall, it was a fun new experience for him, but he was definitely not ready to stay the whole time.

    Lots of music & singing

by childcare on 11/24/10Target Center - Minneapolis

My children are the biggest fans of Curious George! They loved watching him. The show was a musical and lost some interest after intermission. Younger kids I feel like more of a story than all singing. The singing that they did was very good.

I thought the show was very good but didn't think the intermission was necessary. Also the sound was extremely loud. Children have very good hearing and very sensitive hearing so that should be taken into consideration when determining the volume level. Overall the show was good.

A great gift for my daughter's birthday!

by Woolhouse on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

My wife and I brought our daughter for her 4th birthday, and she could not have been more excited. She is a huge fan of "Monkey George," and has several figures, stickers, books, etc. decorating her room. She loved the story and the dancing. I do think the show may have been a little long for the core audience (90 minutes plus a 15 minute intermission, for kids this young?) I also thought the direct-selling of balloons during intermission was a poor choice, as- despite the warnings of ushers and the P.A.- the balloons caused quite a bit of distraction. But my daughter loved it, and that was the most important part.

    Wonderful Show for Kids!

    by jenben1 on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

Great Curious George Show! It held my 3 year olds attention and it was alot of fun! Great performers! We had 5th row floor seats and at times some of the characters would come off the stage and shake hands with or high five some of the kids in these rows! Fun time!

Curious George Live - Cute Show!

    by kb2mom on 11/23/10Target Center - Minneapolis

Took our 7 and 3 (almost 4) yr. old boys. Both very excited when it started but both got a little bored (especially 7 yr. old) by the time the 15 min. intermission came. I noticed a number of lot of kids were getting bored/antsy about halfway through the show, but many were still having a great time. My husband and I thought it was fun and overall we had a good time.
