I was very disappointed. No stand-up arcade games. And the table top games were very limited and some did not even work. And many of them were off limits for free play. 80% of the conference seem to just be vendors trying to sell things. No idea who was in charge of it because no one was visible to ask questions.
First time at a gamer con and it’s was a fun experience and I would definitely go again
Good mix of merch, vintage games, and tournaments.
Had a great time bringing the family to gamercon, did feel there was something lacking in value however. 30/person to basically gain access to vendors seems a big excessive. More direction or instruction or interactive things would of helped this
The website said to signup for cosplay before 2:30 pm on site or register online, the online site never updated and when we went in person at 12:00 pm to sign my son up we went told it’s already filled up and no one else could join
It was a waste of money, it was disorganized, and very limited things to do/see. Mohegan Sun is a great venue though:
Gamercon was a fun event - Atrendees could participate in competitions and find merchanduse from vendors.
For the amount of money that was charged…It could have been a whole lot better very small area for vendors would have expected more vendors there would have expected more Interactive vendors or even interactive areas for smaller kids but even for older kids
Pretty interesting event with some talented artists but otherwise mostly booths of table top gaming items and more funko pop booths than anyone could really need. Had a few booths with video game sales but they’re were highly priced items. Gaming side had some retro systems that everyone needed to try and fight to get a chance to play and then the rest was dedicated to the super smash bros tournament qualifying.
Really not much here to justify the cost. Expensive for such a small event. Many vendors were not even gaming related.
Expected actual playable games or demos or something more than just a couple tournaments and vendors.. but was still a good time
I loved all the self play games you had available. More multi player self play would be great for next year. The multi player band game was awesome. Everything added up to a nice time. :D We'll be back next year!
