CROWDER IN CONCERT:

When it comes to fun and worshipful concert experiences, few acts come close to the inspiring live shows of alternative Christian rock favorite Crowder. David Crowder has been treating audiences to his spiritual blend of indie, bluegrass, folk, and electronica for nearly two decades, and his ability to move audiences through music and prayer reflects his abundance of experience as a performer. Whether he's playing favorites from his days with the David Crowder Band or lifting spirits high with cuts from his chart-topping 2014 album Neon Steeple, Crowder always leaves audiences in awe on his unforgettable tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Texas-born David Crowder got his start as a musician with the church, undertaking music ministry duties while attending university in the '90s. Crowder formed a worship band and began performing in an effort to attract more college students to services, and before long the David Crowder Band had landed a deal with SixStep Records. Their 2002 debut album Can You Hear Us? peaked at No. 17 on the US Christian Albums chart, establishing them as a vibrant new force within the Christian rock community. Crowder went on to release five more albums with the band, topping the Christian charts three times and achieving crossover success with albums like 2012's Give Us Rest -- a No. 2 hit on the Billboard 200. After the group disbanded in 2012 Crowder ventured on as a solo act, topping the charts once again in 2014 with his solo debut Neon Steeple. A humble and inspiring performer, Crowder continues to move concertgoers on his critically acclaimed tours. Over the course of his career, Crowder has played venues such as the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix, and Madison Square Garden in NYC.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"What a great night of worship and sing along. Really felt like I was on a porch and Crowder and the band were hanging out. I love the authenticity and honesty that Dave brought to the concert."

"David Crowder ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) puts on a great show. The music is amazing....his stories are random and hilarious....and the worship is just awesome!"

  • BLAST

by Chrimper Dave on 10/14/25Portsmouth Pavilion - PortsmouthRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I traveled from 40 miles away to attend our first Christian music concert with high expectations. It was a rainy Saturday night and we had orchestra tickets that were right on the edge of the Portsmouth pavilion tent, so our seats and us got extremely wet all night long but that just added to the awesome experience that we enjoyed that night. We met wonderful people enjoyed all of the musical acts, and we even laughed at how soaked we got. We cannot wait until we have an opportunity to see another show. The show was fantastic. All of the acts, musicians, backup singers, and headliners exceeded all of our expectations. The two artist that we would like to recognize about that night was Crowder and his band, and especially his backup singer that could probably solo as a rap artist he was sensational. Thanks for everyone involved in making our night a wonderful experience. Go God Go JESUS LIVES

  • Fantastic service from Ticketmaster!

by Matt Ryan on 10/14/25Portsmouth Pavilion - PortsmouthRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Crowder brought along his hometown pastor for the intermission. Good to see the opportunity being used to bring God's Word to the fans!! We had lawn tickets because there were 5 of us going and we wanted to stay together. It was raining and the venue closed off the lawn area, but a Ticketmaster supervisor swapped our lawn tickets for 5 seats together ❤️!!! Awesome service yall!!

  • Slightly disappointed

by Chuck on 10/14/25Portsmouth Pavilion - PortsmouthRating: 3 out of 5

This was just a difficult evening all around. Thanks to a ill ill-timed nor'easter we were consistently dealing with 30 to 40 mph wind gust in this outdoor facility. The canopy was ineffective at keeping us dry. One of our group of eight people was disabled and on a mobility scooter. He was not permitted to sit with us and actually given wishy washy directions that parked him in a spot where he got drenched. He left at intermission. The artist that performed did a great job considering the conditions. But the headliner didn't leave us satisfied considering the weather we had endured and how much we had payed for the tickets. Which by the way were going for about $80 less than what they had cost us three months earlier. It was in my opinion a very short set list. Actually the 'World Vision' presentation and subsequent plea for sponsors seemed longer than his performance. I was hoping to hear more of his many popular songs. Parking wasn't easy and returning to our car in the dark and in the wind and rain made for treacherous walking. There were many uneven sidewalks along the way. I was just expecting better.

The weather was bad that evening, so I was not able to attend. We had a Nor Easter in our city.

  • Awesome concert/worship service/short sermon!!!

    by Reggie B on 10/14/25Portsmouth Pavilion - PortsmouthRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome concert/worship service/short sermon at Portsmouth Pavilion with Crowder, Kari and Cody Carnes, Passion Worship and Pastor Louie Giglio!!! But the little drummer stole the show (I think it's Kari/Cody's son)

  • Crowder and the other performers were great!

by Susie4jane on 10/14/25Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time and I paid extra for the VIP and Peake experience and feel it was worth the price. I was able to meet Dave Crowder and Kari Jobe Carnes and Cody Carns. The Passion Band was great, full of energy and fun. All of the performances and music were amazing! I enjoyed having the words to the songs on the screen, making it easy to sing along. The pastor’s message was meaningful and inspiring. The food provided for those of us that paid for the Peake Experience was delicious.

  • Wonderful concert experience with Crowder!!!!!!

by Mon on 10/13/25Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the worship experience with Crowder and Kari Jobe. My guests and I could not arrive until seven p m , so having prepaid parking was a plus. The pretzel with crab dip was good; it maybe needed more Old Bay for my taste, so an extra can to sprinkle some on would be great. My only wish was that Crowder would have sung some more, but I understood he was injured and appreciated him showing up. Fantastic concert!

  • unforgettable

by Jo on 10/13/25Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The Crowder concert was an unforgettable experience filled with energy, emotion, and genuine worship. From the moment the lights dimmed and the first note hit, the entire crowd came alive. Crowder’s mix of folk, rock, and worship created an atmosphere that felt both powerful and intimate. His unique sound — blending banjo, electric guitar, and heartfelt vocals — made every song stand out, especially fan favorites like “Good God Almighty” and “Come As You Are.”

  • Praise God!

by Wendy on 10/13/25Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

To be in the presence of God praising his holy name is always a wonderful experience

  • Amazing Praise & Worship experience !!!

by Ken on 10/13/25Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Crowder was so down to earth, his songs are a wonderful expression of praise, worship and spiritual warfare. The increase of volume when he came on, along with the lights was a bit much. I like the words being displayed for everyone. With the other performances beforehand it was really such a blessing to be in an arena full of other Christians worshiping Jesus!

  • Amazing night

  • Crowder is Always Amazing!

by DLKOCHELL on 10/13/25Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing. The combo of Kari, Cody, and Passion complemented David Crowder's performance. Louie Giglio's presentation provided a unique perspective of the Bible, too. The venue was nice, parking was good, but leaving the venue took a long time even though we were in the designated parking area.
