CROWDER IN CONCERT:

When it comes to fun and worshipful concert experiences, few acts come close to the inspiring live shows of alternative Christian rock favorite Crowder. David Crowder has been treating audiences to his spiritual blend of indie, bluegrass, folk, and electronica for nearly two decades, and his ability to move audiences through music and prayer reflects his abundance of experience as a performer. Whether he's playing favorites from his days with the David Crowder Band or lifting spirits high with cuts from his chart-topping 2014 album Neon Steeple, Crowder always leaves audiences in awe on his unforgettable tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Texas-born David Crowder got his start as a musician with the church, undertaking music ministry duties while attending university in the '90s. Crowder formed a worship band and began performing in an effort to attract more college students to services, and before long the David Crowder Band had landed a deal with SixStep Records. Their 2002 debut album Can You Hear Us? peaked at No. 17 on the US Christian Albums chart, establishing them as a vibrant new force within the Christian rock community. Crowder went on to release five more albums with the band, topping the Christian charts three times and achieving crossover success with albums like 2012's Give Us Rest -- a No. 2 hit on the Billboard 200. After the group disbanded in 2012 Crowder ventured on as a solo act, topping the charts once again in 2014 with his solo debut Neon Steeple. A humble and inspiring performer, Crowder continues to move concertgoers on his critically acclaimed tours. Over the course of his career, Crowder has played venues such as the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix, and Madison Square Garden in NYC.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"David Crowder put on a great show! Not only is he a very talented musician who surrounds himself with very talented musicians, he is also hilarious!"

"What a great night of worship and sing along. Really felt like I was on a porch and Crowder and the band were hanging out. I love the authenticity and honesty that Dave brought to the concert."

"David Crowder ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) puts on a great show. The music is amazing....his stories are random and hilarious....and the worship is just awesome!"

  • Jordan Feliz brought it!

    by Equine7 on 11/1/18Salem Civic Center - SalemRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was nice, backup artists ok, thankfully Jordan Feliz came on first. They were awesome!! Expected to see Crowder within 15 minutes after Jordan but no.....we got this guy talking about his football days and a charity for what seemed to be an hour!! We left very disappointed..... didn’t see Crowder but oh well, we got to see Jordan Feliz!

Entire lineup was great! Jordan Feliz kinda stole the show, but everyone was unforgettable.

  • There is only one Crowder!

by Anonymous on 4/29/18Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

He rocks on Heaven's door. Powerful energy. His band is awesome too. Violin/mandolin duo heart tugging. The crowd sings his songs loud, the Spirit in the atmosphere is tangible. What a great performance for the Heart of the Lord. Thank-you, God.

  • Crowder in Bob Hope theater, Stockton, CA

by BanjoMe on 4/26/18Bob Hope Theatre - StocktonRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first time in the Bob Hope theater. It is a very well restored theatre and smaller venue with good acoustics. The venue is located in downtown Stockton which is a little sketchy, but the parking was easy and affordable. There was plenty of event security and our safety was never at risk. This was also my first time seeing Crowder live, what a blessing! If you have never seen him you gotta go. It was a night of powerful praise and worship. Thanks for blessing us David Crowder.

  • Amazing show

by Broclynn on 4/25/18Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was every bit as wonderful as I thought it would be! Best birthday present ever! Moore Theatre is a great place to hear music - even from the rafters!

  • Love Crowder, not the venue so much!

by Strawbilly on 4/25/18Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

David Crowder is my favorite singer, this was my second time seeing him. He never fails to bring Jesus into every aspect if his show. The venue this time was difficult. Was unable to get tickets in time to get down on the floor. Nothing mentioned 5 flights of stairs to the nose bleed section. Not easy for me or my husband. That part was disappointing.

  • An Awesome show !!

by mrtbone on 4/25/18Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Crowder is an artist that has the ability to sound better "live on stage" than listening to a recording.

  • Crowder

  • Crowder was Amazing!

by AbbyRG on 4/24/18Bob Hope Theatre - StocktonRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first time seeing Crowder live in concert, but it will definitely not be our last! He was Awesome and so humble and down to earth! We have been fortunate enough to go to a lot Christian Concerts, but this was, by far, one of our Favorites!

  • Super Talented

Crowder did not disappoint! Very inspirational and uplifting. Opened with my favorite song and leaded the crowd in worship! Opening act was a very talented young group. Unfortunately, it was hard to understand many of their lyrics :(

  • Crowder was fabulous

by LoveCrowder on 4/24/18Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 1 out of 5

Crowder was great, and so was the opening band, The Young Escape. Unfortunately, the sound in the Moore theatre needs work. The drums drowned out everything and really took away from the beautiful vocals. This is our second concert at the Moore in less than 12 months, and we experienced the same terrible sound at that one also. We won't be going back to the Moore. Hopefully Crowder uses a different venue next time!

  • Fantastic time of celebrating our savior Good!

  • More than I had expected!

by Vikfan on 4/21/18Bob Hope Theatre - StocktonRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best shows I had ever seen! I bought tickets early and was able to get four seats in row "C"... turns out row "C" was the first row! Wow, how cool was that! Meeting David after the show was the best! He was having fun with it too, not easy to do after such an amazing night of worship! The band behind him was amazing too, so much talent, they went non stop! Great job you guys! :-)

  • David Crowder Rocks!

by TwixTime on 4/18/18Bob Hope Theatre - StocktonRating: 5 out of 5

This is the 3rd time I've seen David Crowder, this was the most Rockin' by far. The venue was the old Fox Theatre in Stockton, refurbished in is former glory to the Bob Hope Theater, with a great sound system if you were not under the balcony. We moved from under the Balcony and found seats above, the sound was sweet in the Balcony, but dead and boomy if you were underneath. David Crowder was LOUD and the Spirit of God did flow...I would see him again in a heartbeat. I see a lot of live shows, mostly secular, however, secular professional, musical artists have nothing on this band the performance the deliver. Get ready, hold on to your seat and David Crowder will Rock the House, Raise the Roof, and you will be lifting your hands in praise of our Lord! Hallelujah!!

  • Crowder: American Prodigal 3

This concert was amazing! Had a great time. God was in the HOUSE! The theater is beautiful.

  • Excellent Concert

by LoreeLeeE on 4/18/18Bob Hope Theatre - StocktonRating: 5 out of 5

We had seen Crowder before as part of a bigger lineup. That usually means that the artist gets to sing 5 songs max. This was the first time seeing Crowder as a headliner and they did not disappoint. The talent and diversity among the band is like none other. I'm still in awe when I think about the music ability and entertainment we witnessed during the event. David Crowder has a wonderfully likeable personality. He's witty and and has a knack for messaging in his music. We fell in love with Kenny Rodgers (the arctic fox) and have fun following his adventures ever since being introduced to him by Crowder. The beauty of the concert was that it felt like 90 mins of worship. Many other Christian bands merely make abiguous references to Christ and Christianity. His worship music with strong, thoughtful lyrics made the experience exceptional. I've been to many, many secular and Christian concerts. Crowder has moved to the very top of my list. So thankful that he brought his band to our area. The venue was lovely.
