Crowded House on Tour

Crowded House are a multi-platinum-selling Australian rock band who gained fame following their 1986 smash hit "Don't Dream It's Over," which has become one of the most covered songs of the last 20 years. Artists who have covered the song include Paul Young, Sixpence None the Richer, Stan Walker, and The Head and the Heart. These songs and the many that came after continue to resonate with audiences around the world decades later. After releasing their seventh studio album, 2021's Dreamers Are Waiting, Crowded House headed out on a North American tour, with international dates planned as well. The band's new album -- their first since 2011 -- and tour features founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour along with producer/keyboardist Mitchell Froom, guitarist and singer Liam Finn, and drummer Elroy Finn. Don't miss your chance to hear these classic songs, and new material, live. Get tickets to see Crowded House when they come to a city near you.

Crowded House Live in Concert

Formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985 from the ashes of New Zealand's Split Enz by Neil Finn, Paul Hester and Nick Seymour, Crowded House released their self-titled debut album in 1986 on Capitol Records and went on to international success with hits "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong." The first iteration of Crowded House was active from 1985 until 1996 and released four studio albums to much success worldwide. Audiences around the world were coming out in droves to see the band for their freewheeling and interactive live shows. The original lineup performed their legendary Farewell to the World concert in 1996 at the Sydney Opera House before 150,000 fans. In 2007, following the passing of original member Paul Hester, Finn and Seymour got Crowded House back together again with longtime touring member Mark Hart and new drummer Matt Sherrod. Their new album, Intriguer, was released in 2010, their last album before 2021's Dreamers Are Waiting. In 2016, Crowded House was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and during that same time brought back their Farewell shows for four nights of live performances at the Sydney Opera House.

  • Lovely Concert

by William B. on 10/30/24Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Crowded House did a good job sharing their music and interspersed it with playful banter. The band has evolved, but the talent level remains high quality. They do, however, have some potty mouths. Overall, I’m glad I had the chance to see them.

  • Magic!

Firstly the support group chosen, Amble, were great. Good luck to them in their new chosen path in life. Crowded House were fantastic - truly an unforgettable trip down memory lane and great to hear their new songs too.

Great show, sound as good live as they did on the radio! Such great energy, I would go again a hundred times!

  • Great Mix of Old and New Songs

by CalWineGirl on 10/2/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 5 out of 5

In September 2024 we saw Crowded House at the Vina Robles Amphitheater in Paso Robles, CA. The concert was great. It started with a small opening band, with great music. Once Crowded House took the stage it was a playful mix of their on-stage banter (funny and charming), and then a great mix of the songs you know and love (Don't Dream It's Over, to a mix from the Woodface album, and wrapping up with an encore including Distant Sun). Neil Finn's voice is still as good as ever (pretty impressive for 66 years old), the band harmonizes well and incredibly talented. We loved every moment of the concert, including the small outdoor venue. How can you beat listening to great music, under the stars and drinking wine? Thanks to Crowded House and their entire crew for a great concert.

  • Awesome, but...

by SoCal vistor to MidCal on 10/1/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 4 out of 5

Great venue, diverse set list, and Neil sounded fantastic, but the low end of the mix was way too heavy. Many of the songs were muddled due to an overpowered bass line... mid-range completely lost.

  • Such a treat to see Neil F and family

by Joe M on 10/1/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 5 out of 5

Loved this show! It was so special to hear Neil Finn and his boys performing their music live. They played nearly all the classic 80s and 90s CH songs I wanted to hear, with plenty of fun touches like audience sing-along moments and unexpected solos/jams. I was a little worried, with the dramatically different sound of their new album Gravity Stairs, they might have trouble sounding like the old CH I desperately wanted to experience. But Neil's voice is still right on point, his band played faithfully, and even the newer songs I don't know as well had a cool vibe that kept me interested. I was basically in 90s pop/rock heaven for the entire show. It was my first time at Vina Robles Amphitheatre and I sincerely enjoyed that venue. Ambiance was great, food and drinks were good, having seats near the stage made it feel like they were performing just to me. Even the security was friendly and helped out when I had trouble with my seats. Opening band from Ireland called Amble were charming and had a light and lovely sound. Music was kinda like Mumford & Sons on decaf with a gentle mandolin instead of furious banjo, crossed with Hozier moonlighting at a folk music show. If this weren't the last show of the Crowded House tour, I would strongly recommend CH fans go see it. Next time!

  • Great place , Incredible bands

by JayD on 10/1/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 5 out of 5

It started the right way with your parking attendants getting us situated quickly and efficiently. Then the staff at the venue were friendly and helpful. The seats were perfect. The opening band (Amble) provided us with a nice set of well crafted songs that touched my Irish heart. Then Crowded House who presented us with a woven set with a combination or songs from their most recent project then a collection of songs that brought back memories and had us all singing along with them. A truly magical night for my friends and I.

  • Great Band, Great Performance!

  • Great to see Crowded House again

by Marafromnowhere on 10/1/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 5 out of 5

Crowded House was the first act I took my kids to see when they were 12 and 10 and we had a wonderful time seeing them again 17 years later. Neil Finn is one of my favorite song writers and his voice is as true as ever. Thanks for indulging us in all the sing alongs! So fun to see Neil play with his sons. I remember when Liam opened for them and he brings a lot of energy to the band. Wonderful show and what a great venue! First time at Vina Robles Amphitheater, would love to see more shows there.
