    I’ve been a big fan of the Australian group, The Waifs, for years after hearing their song Bridal Train on an online folk channel. I went on to discuss they had many other wonderful songs, but had never seen them until now. The Birchmere was the perfect setting and the crowd was ready for them and we’ll versed in their catalogue of music. They played until @1015pm while many acts these days wrap up well before 10. The audience appreciated every song and even jumped in with a couple of song a long parts (Gillian.) Couldn’t ask for better and will keep an eye out for their next US Tour.

    I waited 13 years to see this band live and they were fantastic! I hope to see them again in the near future!

    Wallis Bird, a solo opening act, was absolutely amazing- a true tour de force power ballad. Thoroughly enjoyed both Wallis Bird and The Waifs. Catch them if you can!
