About

CROSBY, STILLS AND NASH IN CONCERT:

Formed at the end of the '60s, folk rock supergroup Crosby, Stills and Nash remain legends to this day, as beloved for their perennial touring as they are for their influential legacy in American music history. The group, occasionally accompanied by Neil Young, has weathered over four decades of dramatic highs and lows, coming out no worse for the wear — in 2012 they released their fourth live album CSN 2012, proving their intricate vocal harmonies were as exquisite as ever and building anticipation for their 2014 tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Their voices were magnificent. You could close your eyes and be transported back to 1969. It brought back so many memories."

"After all these years their harmonies were right on. Each old CSN song was done with a lot of life and attention to detail. These guys really seem to care and it showed."

"Acoustic versions of classics including Helplessly Hoping and Guinevere sounded as good as ever, along with roaring rock & roll classics."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash had each already been members of successful groups when they got together in 1968, hailing from The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Holllies, respectively. After an improvised performance at Joni Mitchell's house resulted in the trio harmonizing together, they took steps to make it official, signing a unique deal with Atlantic Records that used their surnames as the band's name, giving them an unprecedented level of independence and ensuring that the group could not continue on in the absence of one of them. Following the success of their self-titled debut in 1969, they added Neil Young as an official member to round out their touring lineup. The new configuration proved to be a hit — Deja Vu, their 1970 debut as a quartet, landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, going on to sell over seven million copies. Over the course of eight studio albums, the band has penned some of the most iconic songs in American rock music, continuing to thrill fans with arena-filled performances of classic hits like "Ohio" and "Helplessly Hoping."

    CSN still got it!!!

by Concerttrack on 5/22/15Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Second time seeing them and they are still a tight band, that bring a lot of energy and history to the stage. CSN still rock and roll on stage you would never guess they are seniors now.. They played a lot of their hits and some new songs. Great stories and anecdotes, just a great time. Three hours straight through with a 15 minute intermission CSN Still has it!!

Crosby Stills and Nash are simply the best.

by Dougalla on 5/22/15Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Entire show was top shelf. They performed all the CSN hits, and included their individual hits. Wish the concert lasted forever. The crowd singing along, at their prompting, was magnificent.

    Crosby Stills Nash: Amazing night

A truly amazing night of classic 60's/70s music and new compositions delivered with a style and harmony only Crosby Stills and Nash can deliver.

Crosby, Stills and Nash just keeps getting better.

by Staticman on 5/22/15Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - Boston

Amazing show with a very unusual venue. The Wang Theatre was not the spot you would expect to see a hippy band play. The audience was well dressed and there was lots of gray hair in the audience. This was concern number 16 for me and definitely one of the best. Maybe it was a clear mind and the bottled water I was drinking.

We had a great time reliving our youth!

by WHLULU on 5/22/15Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - Boston

CSN is still in good shape. They still know how to play to the audience and engage them. It would have been even better if they stuck to the hits but I understand their need to do other things as well. And the Wang Center is always a fabulous venue!

    The. Best. Ever.

by GMMTG on 5/22/15Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - Boston

I've seen these guys in concert before and this was, hands down, the best ever. They just keep getting better - perfecting their craft. They are amazing. The sound was a little distorted when the whole band was playing - that was disappointing. Crosby, Stills, and Nash were, however, OUTSTANDING!

    Crosby, Stills, and Nash

by Paularev123 on 5/22/15Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - Boston

They were beyond amazing!! They played for over 3 hours, a great deal of the fan favorites and the individual new stuff they have been doing. It was like seeing an old friend, feel like I grew up with these guys. They made sure they brought the audience into it and invited everyone to sing along and the ENTIRE audience did. It seemed like it went by in a minute, highly recommend.

    CSN's Still Got it!

by Cyndilou1971 on 5/22/15Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - Boston

This is the best show I have seen in a long time. I was too young to see this band in their heyday, but have always been a fan. When I heard they were coming around, I knew I HAD to see them...that this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness legends perform. My expectations weren't only met, they were EXCEEDED. The music, harmonies, song selection....I could go on and on. What a fantastic show.

    CSN Still Has It

by smeghead1851 on 5/21/15Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

Saw CSN at the Hippodrome in Baltimore on May 10. A great show; they still have it. Stills' voice is weaker but in good form, Crosby & Nash are still rocking hard; David still has his sense of humor and Nash played more guitar than I've ever seen him do. They did a version of Dylan's Girl From the North Country that should be recorded & released. Stills is just a superb guitarist, very tasteful, but he can rock it hard when he wants to !

    CSN

by fluker on 5/20/15Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

The Kings Theatre was restored beautifully! This venue is great! The CSN concert was really great!! Glad they played the majority of their older songs with a little of their new solo stuff sprinkled in. Let me tell you they can still harmonize!
