Common Kings @ The Rady's Shell

by Review Questionnaire on 5/14/24The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego

Ok so the way in was hassle free. Not one of those, advertised as a reggae concert yet will setup all these Swat vehicles everywhere with drones performing surveillance just sayin mission bayfest. The audio at the shell was pro quality. The sound from being at the shell was amazing as well. And Common Kings... I've seen them 6 times in 4 years!!! They are super good everytime bradah. Also. JR can sing bro. He can actually sing n the band is always in the pocket. Worth it.

You brought a little bit of home to me.

by J. Poomaihealani on 5/9/24The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego

As an active duty service member in the United States Navy, I am not able to go home to the islands very often. But you brought a little bit of home to me with your performance in San Diego. It was an amazing experience! All love to you!

Great set up with sound tech and lights, great view from every angle. Surround sound ✨️, foodies and drink station posted on each side of the grounds. Only thing is they sale alcohol that no one really drinks, that was a 3. When it comes to drinks

    Best Night Ever

by KaraBear on 5/7/24The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego

My husband and I had the best night ever. Not only are Common Kings one of the best performers, but the venue was beautiful, the crowd was friendly, and we couldn’t ask for a better time. However, it would be nice if the alcohol wasn’t $22 per small can.

    AWESOME

by Iamharris on 5/7/24The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park - San Diego

This was my first concert at Rady Shell and it will not be my last. Getting to the Shell from North County was easy. The Shell and surrounding area is gorgeous. I prepaid for parking, so parking was easy. The bathroom accommodations at the shell was great. Plenty of stalls in the women's bathroom and the bathrooms were super clean and stocked. The Common Kings NEVER disappoint! Their live performances are the best! This was our third time seeing them in San Diego and hopefully they will keep coming to SD. We brought our 21 year old daughter with us this time and she had so much fun. I love that Common Kings music transcends generations. Their hype man is HYPE! I didn't really like their opening act this year but so many other people around me enjoyed them. It would have been better in my opinion if they had more than one opening act like they've done in the past. That piano instrumental before Queen Majesty (I think) was FIRE!
