About

Come From Away on Tour

The true story of the small town that welcomed the world.

Broadway's COME FROM AWAY has won Best Musical all across North America!

The New York Times Critics' Pick takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.

Don't miss this breathtaking new musical written by Tony® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and helmed by this year's Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley. Newsweek cheers, "It takes you to a place you never want to leave!"

On 9/11, the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all.

Loved the play -- heartwarming and beautifully acted.

by Tina on 8/6/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I saw the play first in NYC, and loved it. Attended again in Chicago so my husband could see it too. Loved it just as much in Chicago, except that the music was so loud that we both had trouble understanding the dialogue and lyrics. Very distracting! Otherwise, I totally recommend this play!

    Feel good show

by Skippy on 8/6/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This show had it all. Great performances, fantastic music, and excellent staging. But most of all, a true story that uplifts tired hearts in dark times.

    Disappointed

by Mounty on 8/5/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Hard to understand, very fast paced,, every one around me was laughing but me. Show was okay, the music was nothing to write home about.

    Wonderful Heartfelt Show!!!

    by Jlp465 on 8/5/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Best performance I've seen in a while. I laughed, I cried, and when it was over I left with with a really good feeling. Restores your faith in humanity in a time where we really need to come together as A Human Race. Definitely two thumbs up!

    Fantastic cast! Rivals NYC!!

    by D. H. on 8/5/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Cadillac Palace is a great theatre. Saw this show in NYC and was frankly worried about a tour cast. Every one of my party laughed, cried and had a wonderful time. I was equally as moved by this powerful show as I was in NYC. The case is absolutely top-notch although my one comment would be that Chicago needs to learn how to mic and set sound system so that it isn't overbearing or muddling the voices. I know every word to this show and had difficulties understanding in a couple spots. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!! Sure hope it comes back. What genius only booked in three weeks in a theatre town!!

    Fantastic show!

    by K. D. on 8/4/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This show was fantastic. I saw it in New York and had to see it again in Chicago. It was just as good. The whole audience sprang up in a standing ovation at the end. I love the seamless transition between switching characters and the set. Seemingly so simple yet so complex for the performers. And each of them had incredible voices. The music was wonderful. I have been telling all my friends they have to see it. The message in the story is timeless and so needed in this time of division in our world.

Talented Cast! Incredible music and story

by OG on 8/4/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I was instantly struck by how these powerhouse voices came from an older, diverse crowd. Don’t get me wrong, I Loved Cats and Les Miz, but, holy cow is no one over 30 allowed on broadway anymore? This show was a breath of fresh air. The music and story were awesome too.

    Disappointing

by Willie on 8/4/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The staging was good and the acting was good. However, the band (orchestra) was out of balance with the singers and covered up the dialog when playing in the background. It was impossible the understand the words in the songs and hard to hear the spoken words. In other words, the band was way too loud. The soundman should have realized this and adjusted. This was a good story but an awful theater experience. Very disappointing.

    Everyone should see this.

by Dorothy on 8/4/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This show provides an example of how we should behave. It doesn’t ignore some mistakes we’ve made, but it highlights the best in us. It’s a nice reminder of the capability of humanity.

Clever and heartwarming performance! Loved it!

by Lisa on 8/4/19Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Enjoyed every moment. The actors were great. The writing was clever. So needed to see this story of people coming together for each other with no bias in our extremely polarized world of today. What a lesson for everyone!
