Colin Quinn Long Story Short Tickets

We very much enjoyed Colin Quinn in Long Story Short. It was non-stop laughter. Looking at history thru his eyes we can easily see how silly we all look at times.

Hilarious show. Didn't stop laughing for 75 minutes.

Intelligently done show with a fun take on the evolution of civilization. Quinn clearly enjoys himself, and delivers the material well. I have enjoyed his sense of humor since Remote Control, and he is as funny now as he was then. The visuals tied well to the topics at hand, even adding funny moments without being distracting.

A very good presentation of roughly historical events that though scripted at times really had us laughing.

And what else would we expect from Colin Quinn? This show is not only riotously funny, but smart and thought-provoking. A sure thing. Go see it.

One cannot mistake the Jerry Seinfeld humor... main reason we didn't want to miss it while in Chicago for our brief stay... Colin Quinn made a herculean task (of making history not sound boring) seem an everyday thing.... You wanna go back for more, and ask..."oh, would you repeat that line again?" and laugh your heart out like you heard it the first time! There were so many, I might as well go back and watch it again! CQ, you are now in my list to watch out for in your next shows to come!

Great show! He was on stage for 90 minutes and never missed a beat!

Colin Quinn was very good and very funny. But we missed alot of the punch lines because we could not hear what he was saying. It seemed like he did alot of mumbling.

Long Story Short was a funny, spot-on ride through history. Quinn's writing was sharp and full of wicked humor.

Have not laughed that hard in a long time. Throughly recommend, though there is some language I might not want my Grandma to hear.

My only suggestion is to have an opening comedy act for us driving downtown and back was longer than the 75 minute show. But I have no regrets it was very funny.

It was the first time I had attended an event at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, and it is a very nice venue. Hard to imagine bad seats anywhere. I enjoyed the material C.Q. presented, although he seemed a bit bored with it at times, after so many shows. Nevertheless, had me laughing much of the time.

The play was fast-paced and smartly written. Quinn is a very likeable and talented actor whose delivery was on the mark. Connecting seemingly disparate events into a very funny history of the world.

My husband and I booked a weekend getaway in Chicago. I booked the Colin Quinn showed and we laughed out loud for the full duration of the 78 minute show. I would recommend anyone to attend the show. Colin Quinn was engaging and spot on in his interpretations. Loved it!!!!!!

was better than I thought it would be....good content a delivery....quite a unique way of looking at history...he talks fast n my friend didn't catch everything he was saying, but I got it all n laughed...enjoyed it.....ticket price was good for where we sat, but the extra charges were too much...made the purchase 30% higher going through this site...might try to purchase another way

Right out of the gates, you could tell this was Jerry Seinfeld's work . . . and Colin Quinn did a fantastic job taking us through history in a way that brought humor, light and in many instances truths that are often not told!!! Recommend you have an evening out on the town, relax and get ready for many laughs!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed! Highh energy, clever, hysterical observations about human nature. My one complaint is Colinn's delivery being quite fast and sometimes close to mumbling so difficult to understand every word. I'm sure I missed some funny stuff!
