    Great Time!

by RS on 9/18/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

The show was great! I would have preferred to have known that the start time was when doors opened and not an hour later, but the show itself was hilarious!

    Awesome show

by eklaw on 9/18/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

Colin Jost is hysterical. Even his ridiculous outfit was a riot. For a guy that wrote an entire chapter about pooping his pants, a jumpsuit was a bold choice. The entire line up was awesome. Colin’s set was self deprecating and silly, Che slayed. Both openers were fantastic. All four out at the same time was really a treat.

    Phones confiscated and late start

by sjh on 9/18/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

There was no notice prior to arriving at the venue that our phones would be locked up for the duration of the show. Advance notice on this should have been a MUST. What if you had young kids at home, or a sitter, or an emergency? Also show started way late. The tickets said 7pm (which meant dinner at the crack of 5pm on a Friday), and yet the 1st opening act did not grace the stage until at least 7:50pm. By the time the second opening act was finished - it was pushing 9pm. Why couldn't they have started at 8pm instead? I felt they could have shown more respect for their audience.

Was and excellent show and everyone was hilarious!

by Katie on 9/18/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

I had a great time and everyone did really good! At the one I went to in Dc the openers were, Paris Sashay & Marcello Hernandez and the headliners were Collin Jost & Michael Che. Everyone was excellent and the crowd was dying laughing at everyone from the openers to the headliners. The only issues I had was that it started about 30min - 1hr late and that they locked our phones in Yondr phone cases without a heads-up. Normally I wouldn’t mind that, but there was zero heads-up and even in line we didn’t know until we were right in the front going through security. I had a couple time sensitive message to send but figured I should go earlier to beat the line and I could send them from my seat. But nope, until I was walking through security I then found out that wasn’t happening. But moral of the story they most definitely should’ve given us a heads up about the phones and could’ve started a little more on time but aside from that everything was great! Highly recommend!

Comics great, no access to phone, terrible

by Rola on 9/18/23DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

I wish we had been told in advance that we would have to turn off our phones and lock them up. I am a primary caregiver to someone with dementia. I left her alone with a caregiver and had that person needed to reach me, she wouldn't have been able to. Same for parents of children. It's also a disability accessibility issue, especially for people who are hard of hearing. Many use apps on their phones to control their hearing aids. Please consider that in the future. The comics were great and the staff at the venue was great (especially since I am a person with a disability and they made sure I had priority access to the accessible bathrooms. I particularly enjoyed Marcello Hernandez.

    Odd venue but good show.

    by JediMystra on 8/27/23

Molly as an opener was weak. They were a little all over the place and not that funny. Marcello was very funny and engaging. Colin was great. First time seeing him doing standup and it lives up to weekend update humor. Started pretty late which is a pet peeve of mine with shows your paying good $$ to see.

    Dissappointing

    by AMNT on 8/27/23

Opening acts were very funny and the comedians were prepared and into their performances. Colin appeared a bit lit and sloppy. Lost his place, and forgot punch lines. Not great.

Very funny show. The openers were excellent and Colin didn’t disappoint. You really need to go see this one.

    Exactly what you were expevting

    by Greg on 8/27/23

Show was fantastic. Obviously - if you like Colin Jost you’ll like seeing Colin Jost perform live. A couple of annoying hecklers shouted stuff about his wife which was pretty cringy and embarrassing. He handled them well, though. Pleasantly surprised by his opener/costar Marcelo Hernandez who is consistently hilarious. We had no idea he was opening and my wife and I lost our minds when he came on. Definitely delivered. First opener was Molly Kearny who was still working on their act (visibly reading jokes from their phone/paper). They’ve got potential but not quite there yet.

    AMAZING SHOW!!

Such a fantastic show from start to finish. The openers were amazing and then Colin Jost came out and it was never ending laughs until the show ended. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    Disappointed

    by Shelly on 7/2/23

Who misses a flight to a show? Colin Jost does!! Show started 3 1/2 hours late as his flight was "delayed"-he admitted to missing the flight! He was funny for the 40 minutes that he was on stage but then brought 2 coworkers up with him. I was super disappointed by this show and I had such high hopes.

    Disappointed, disappointed!

by Swim on 6/28/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Entry acts were overall mediocre. I expected more time from Jost. Wanted more commentary on society.

    Good Comedy Is Always Welcome

by Gary on 6/28/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

I’ve been a fan of Colin Jost since I’ve seen him on Saturday Night Live and on talk show appearances. I was a little nervous about the quality of his stand up, but there was no need to worry. He was very funny with a lot of topical comments. The addition of opening acts added to a fine night out.

    Great night of laughs

by Artdeco on 6/28/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

We had the best time from the amazing openers through Colin’s set. We laughed and enjoyed the show. All five of the performancers were on their toes interacting with the audience. We were so glad we were able to get tickets. Highly recommend

    Disappointing

by McB on 6/27/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Just not that funny. And to start 40 minutes late with your pre game show just really sucked. Not thinking of the audience

Love Colin on SNL, Standup Is Fine

by rpotter1000 on 6/27/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

My title pretty much says it. He’s enjoyable but pretty standard and conventional as a standup comic. He has a series of SNL friends do opening sets, and they were fine, too. The opener (don’t remember his name—an SNL writer, not a performer, black guy—was probably the funniest and at least had a fun little edge to him. For context, I’m in my late forties and have little patience for or interest in much of youth culture (including “wokeness,” depending on your definition of that loaded word), so my opinion may or may not be relevant to you.

    Outstanding

by David on 6/27/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The show far surpassed expectations. The three performances that opened before Colin were all hits on their own. Colin was genuine and funny and in sync with the Chicago venue.

    Hilarious!

by Ash on 6/27/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Colin and all of his SNL alumni were absolutely amazing to see! It has always been a dream to get to see SNL live so to get to see even just a few cast members and writers was so awesome. The jokes were so funny, the atmosphere was great, just an all around great time!

    Hilarious!

by Lindsey on 6/27/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

I wasn’t expecting 3 opening acts, but they were all so funny! One was a writer for Saturday Night Live, and two were new cast members. They were all really funny. Colin did a much longer performance than I anticipated, which was so much fun. He also seemed to use Chicago-specific material and speak off the cuff. It felt like a special show customized for that audience. I’d highly recommend seeing the show. I’d even go again!
