My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra”s Christmas performance. The instruments and singing was awesome. Hope to make this a Christmas tradition!!
Everything about the performance was wonderful. The gentleman soloist was fabulous as was the chorus and the SpiveyHall group.
Outstanding performance by Timothy Miller. Was definitely the highlight of the show. Both choral groups were excellent. Loved the school age group. There were 7 people in our group and everyone loved it. It's a holiday tradition for us and we hope to see Mr. Miller again. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is always excellent. Can't wait for next years show!
Wonderful performance! Enjoyed the orchestra as well as all the singers both young and old. The director did a wonderful job keeping everything running smoothly and right on cue. Great seats - we were in row F. And seating was comfortable with plenty of leg room. We have plans to go again next year which means we must have had a very good evening.
I thought this was supposed to be a holiday concert with familiar secular songs. It was not, albeit there were a few classic songs, but not the ones to get you into the holiday spirit. Both choruses were great as the usually are, but not utilized enough. Solos were ok but not necessary and did not contribute to getting you into the festive holiday mood. The event was more religious in nature, not what I bargained for. I will not come again.
We had the most wonderful time! Everything was beautiful! I loved how the audience was encouraged to be involved but the orchestra and chorus had an amazing sound. I look forward to going back!
The show was fabulous. Just thee right amount of familiar music and outstanding performances from the orchestra. The Russian Dance was awesome.
Despite the fact that we didn’t have great seats because we were so close up we couldnt really see the choirs and most of the instruments, it was a wonderful show. Everything sounded WONDERFUL Loved the instrumentl and vocal soloists and childrens choir.
The ASO does a fabulous job of including all age groups and providing inspiration for the holidays! I look forward to attending this performance each year.
We don’t go every year, but we do go frequently and it’s always beautiful. There are a good many young children in the crowd and the frequent up and down to let the out can be a little bit of a nuisance. But still glad to see them getting introduced to the arts. Loved the whole experience.
