About

Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they'll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.

  • Lots of Fun - just like Clue should be!

by Gony on 5/15/24Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Clue was one of my favorite games in childhood and one of my sons' favorite game to play when he was little. So it was fitting to attend Clue, based on the movie, together. We had a great time. The show incorporated so much of the game, the actors were FANTASTIC, the setting and staging was excellent. No, this is not high drama. But if you go to the theater to have a light hearted good time, this is a show for you.

  • It’s cute but why just repeat the movie?

by Chad on 5/15/24Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreRating: 3 out of 5

I actually thought it was a musical but it’s not. They literally just repeat the movie, when they could have done an entirely different culprit?

  • Meh...

by asphynx on 5/15/24Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreRating: 3 out of 5

Good acting, but almost every line was lifted directly from the movie. Grab the DVD and save yourself $170. At least then you'll get to see a performance by Tim Curry.

  • This was rough

by Alex on 5/15/24Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreRating: 1 out of 5

I assume it was just me and my sister. Everyone else around us was having a grand ol' time, laughing and giggling throughout. But I hated this. The actors were great! The dialogue was nearly impossible to understand. The jokes were a bit heavy handed. All in all I would not recommend you see this... just watch the movie.

  • Fun!

by KDefull on 5/14/24Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The room changes were incredible. Moving stage pieces to change each room of the mansion. The show was fun, true to the movie & great actors especially Mr Green.

This was my first time in a live theater. It was very good. Actors did a well performance and were very funny. The surprise at the end was shocking!

  • A Mystery Worth Seeing-Clue

by BrittK on 4/17/24Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the production of Clue seen at the Ohio Theater. I actually got to see it twice! Clue is my favorite movie and if you truly enjoy the movie Clue then you will appreciate this show. Plus the amazing stage set work that was conducted…out of this world!

  • Clue’s a hit in Columbus

by Annabelle on 4/17/24Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

So funny from start to finish! I took my 20 year old daughter who didn’t have a clue about the show & she loved it! Later we watched the movie & she preferred your show! Everyone was spectacular; however, we were rather fond of Mr. Green’s theatrics! The moving parts of the rooms were amazing; and worked well with the fast pace of the show. Have told everyone it’s a must see & we’ll plan to see it again!

  • Worst ever. Highly priced for 75 min show.

by Klu on 4/17/24Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 1 out of 5

Falling asleep since it turned out so lackluster. Did not develop the plot in a suspenseful way. Could barely understand the actors. Would never recommend to anyone else. At conclusion patrons gave token applause and quickly left the theater.

  • Such a funny and exciting time!

The show kept you on your toes the whole time while making us all laugh along the way. We would see it again!

  • Fun Show

by Sue on 4/15/24Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

Funny -- well-acted -- glad it was only 1 hour and 20 minutes long as we had young teens with us -- had trouble hearing some of the lines

  • Funny but dialogue was unintelligible

by NateDawg on 4/15/24Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

Clue was funny, from what I could understand. The volume was fine, but for whatever reason, a majority of the dialogue was unintelligible. I thought it was maybe just "my old man ears"but after the show my 14 y/o daughter also confessed she had a hard time understanding what the characters were actually saying. The set was the real winner of the show. It was amazing to watch how the cast interacted with each hidden room and traversed from scene to scene. Very well designed. Finally, Mr. Green and his over-the-top antics was a real crowd pleaser. Even though we couldn't understand him, we could tell what he was up to just by watching his hilarious movements.
