Funny, entertaining, but short
by Tee on 11/4/25Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 3 out of 5I laughed a lot and truly enjoyed the show. However, the Short length of the show (75 minutes) was not worth the price of a ticket.

Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they'll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.
I laughed a lot and truly enjoyed the show. However, the Short length of the show (75 minutes) was not worth the price of a ticket.
I've seen a lot of productions in Syracuse and in the West End of London. This performance was dinner theater quality at off-broadway prices. All other traveling productions at the Landmark have been very well done. This one is a pass.
The show moved fast, and actors were good, but punchlines seemed to be walked over a lot of the time. I went in to the show looking for the suspense of who done it, and that was taken away as well.
Enjoyed the play very much. It was great fun. Talented cast with good comedic timing.
Took my preteen boys and they both loved it. Close enough to the movie to allow us to know and anticipate but they expanded it so much. The cast was Amazing and did a really great job. I would definitly see it again anytime.
We had a fantastic time! This show was so funny! The cast was great and the stage design superb. It was just an excellent excellent experience! Well done
The show was so funny and reminded me of playing the boardgame as a child. The actors were wonderful!
I personally did not care for the play. It was shorter than normal and not all that comical.
The show was excellent. The theatre acoustics left much to be desired. Even though they had monitors with the dualogue, it was very difficult to see and took you away from the stage.
My family and I always enjoy a night together at the theater. This performance was fantastic. We haven’t laughed so much in quite some time! Bravo 👏
We took our family to see Clue and we all loved it! The performance was top-notch, with wonderfully creative sets and transitions. We loved the witty lines andloved how they did the running scenes and playbacks of possible murderers at the end.
The cast did a great job! Enjoyed seeing it very much.
This show was amazing! Clue is my favorite movie, and they captured the spirit of the film without being a frame-by-frame duplicate. Highly recommended.
Having seen the original film in 1985 in theaters and with my family being a huge fan of the game, this live portrayal of Clue did not disappoint! I was wondering how they would handle the action being in multiple rooms and the set design delivered - very clever with the actors really adding to the overall effect. And I was so happy to have Madeline Kahn's "the flames"improvisation included. All in all, an excellent production and I highly recommend.
What a ride! We loved this experience so much. It was a nice break from the musicals (not that we don't LOVE the musicals), but as season ticket holders, it was a nice change of pace. And speaking of pace, the 80 minutes was 100% energy the entire time. The individual performances, stellar! Specifically, the actor who played Wadsworth and the actress who played Mrs. White.. so good!
So funny and true to the movie! Loved it! The actors did a great job. Very believable!
Saw this at the Herr Auditorium in Rochester, NY. I thought the show was witty and fun. The end, however, became just silly, too silly. The actors rushed their lines. Made it difficult to understand. Plus they didn't give any space for laughter. As a result, some of the dialogue was difficult to understand or hear. There was closed captioning the day I saw it, but the captioning display was too small for those sitting toward the back. Overall, I have seen better quality shows at our local theater, Geva. For the cost of the tickets, I was underwhelmed.
Clue has always been one of my favorite movies, and Clue On Stage did not disappoint! My daughter and I caught the final performance in Peoria and were laughing all the way through. Wadsworth was the perfect "narrator"and Mr. Green's physicality was second to none. This cast was amazing! Bravo!
Honestly, 5 stars from start to finish. The fast paced, quick witted, hilarious and engaging play of Clue was incredible. Myself, and my two teenagers were enthralled the entire time, they didn't pull their phones out once, which is saying something big! Kudos to the amazing cast, especially Mr. Green, who had us reeling in laughter the whole time! We've never went to the same play twice, but when this comes back to our town, we will 100% go again, it was that good!
We are a clue family thru three generations. We saw it both nights in Peoria. Just the best.
