About

From an early age, Clay Aiken was recognized for his wonderful voice and natural ability as a live performer. After singing in the choir and in several musicals, Aiken attained national fame on the popular TV show American Idol. Though Aiken finished second in the competition to Ruben Studdard, Aiken soon had a recording contract and released his first single, the #1 hit "This Is the Night," within weeks of the show's end. This success was followed by the 2003 release of his double-platinum debut album, The Measure of a Man, which featured the hits "I Will Carry You" and "Invisible." Later that same year, Aiken won the Fan's Choice Award at the American Music Awards, proving millions of fans held the singer close to their hearts. 2004 saw the release of another smash hit for Aiken, the holiday album Merry Christmas with Love.

    My favorite Christmas tradition

by Kstarraiken on 3/4/13The Grove - Anaheim

As always, Clay was funny, clever, and in top voice. Backed up by an incredible orchestra and the amazing Ben Cohn, even the old Christmas standards seemed fresh and new. Another thing I love about Clay's shows is seeing those who have never been to one of his shows before. It's a joy I never tire of. You keep singing, Clay, and we'll keep coming back for more. <3

Clay's voice was awesome. Made Xmas special

by pjstormy on 12/23/12Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Expo Center - Milwaukee

Clay was very interactive with the audience which made his expressive voice even warmer. Songs done in a new way and the traditional songs were awesome. His rendition of "Mary Did You Know" was outstanding and songs like "I'll Be Home For Christmas" were rich with meaning. All in all it was a concert worth seeing. I'll remember it for a long time.

Clay and his Gift of Comedy

    by star4gazing on 12/20/12Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Expo Center - Milwaukee

Along with singing awesome Christmas Carols, Clay Aiken has a gift of humor and timing. I do believe he could do an hour of just comedy and take it on the road. I would, however, miss The Voice! He's that good.

Clay, best singer/entertainer of our generation

    by abie374 on 12/18/12Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Expo Center - Milwaukee

The venue allowed for Clay's magnificent voice to carry beautifully. He has got the greatest singing voice of anyone in this generation. He is also an incredible showman and entertainer, interacting with the audience wonderfully, very timely witty and humorous on stage. The Christmas show was fabulous. He did all of the Christmas songs we really want to hear and in his own Clay Aiken style that makes him stand out from all other performers. He didn't waste any time on stage singing obscure songs that would have been unfamiliar to the audience. His wardrobe changes throughout the show were classic and subtle, always resulting in a most professional, elegant appearance. I could have sat there for another 6 or so hours and enjoyed further this concert and performance from Clay Aiken. The audience also was never without a full house of enthusiastic applause.

Concert really put us in the Christmas spirit. His voice is truly amazing in person. There are no bad seats in this theater so nice to be able to see a performer so close up. The accoustics are wonderful also in this theater. Clay also adds humor to his show, he has a wonderful funny personality.

    Clay is Amazing

by MimiRoe on 12/11/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Clay Aiken's show was unforgettable, mesmerizing, and beyond wonderful. His voice touches the soul in a way that makes the spirit feel peace, contentment, and inner joy. Clay sang all of his favorite holiday songs from when he was in the choir as a young boy. His feelings of love for and his connection with these songs is obvious as he every delivers emotion into the presentation. I sat in awe as I always do when hearing him sing, as if I were being a private concert. Once Clay begins to sing, it's as though there is no one else in the room; that is the power of his voice. The show included Clay and an orchestra, different from his previous "Joyful Noise" shows, which had back-up singers and an abundance of hoilday decorations. It was pure Clay! This new format was what the audience was there for; to hear Clay sing like no other can.

Clay Aiken Joyful Noise Tour 2012 - awesome

by Massfan on 12/11/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

This was one of the most enjoyable concerts I've attended. I took my husband, daughter, and her boyfriend. All had a great time. It was a great mix of Christmas carols, standards, newer Christmas songs plus fun stage banter between Clay and the audience. He was backed by a live orchestra. The stage was beautifully lit. I highly recommend the show.

    Clay Aiken Joyus Noise

    by Sweetmel37 on 12/11/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I've been a fan of his since idol and have seen all his shows, even traveled to worcester civic center twice when he didn't come to boston. This show was great, his voice, his banter, the band was outstanding. My only complaint is that I was seated next to a drunk man that kept shouting and standing up saying "I'm Gay!" and crying.

    Clay Aiken was great

by gallopingjudy on 12/11/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I have seen all but one of his performances but enjoyed this the most. It was a smaller venue and less production, with no big special effects. But his interaction with the audience was fantastic. I didn't know he was such a character and so outward and honest. He had us in stitches a good part of the show. Loved the ending. I had the good fortune to be seated right where he came out into the audience and sang his last song. Overall loved the show and definately would see it again.

    Clay was Outstanding!

by RonnyMac on 12/11/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I bought the tickets for my wife who has always liked Clay and his singing. I ended up enjoying the show as much as my wife. He was tremendous. He connected with the audience and was very comfortable telling stories about himself and backgroud on some of the song selections. The Orchestra was a "10". 15-20 piece band that performed flawlessly.
