Same review for all sessions we attended (3, 7 & 8):
Great to see some high quality tennis locally. Unfortunately, a few players we would have liked to see pulled out. (e.g., Dimitrov).
1. They really need to do something to provide more and better food choices. Basically, all there is available is "bar food" and not much in the way of healthy food. Given the prices are high, the food quality and selection should be much better. Given the location of the facility, there really is no option to go off site nearby for food.
2. Also, the schedule of play was such that we ended up with significant dead time before the next "play will not begin before…" For these times, the seating is very limited and there is little else to do.
3. It would be great to have the schedule for players on the practice courts, or some other way to know who is on or coming up on, the different practice courts.
4. We were surprised there weren't more women's matches in the stadium.
5. There should be a better effort to provide value to those ticket holders for matches that get rained out. We didn't, but it definitely affects my willingness to pay for tickets. We would likely by more if we knew we weren't potentially going to get "bageled" by weather. Other tournaments I've attended, have offered ticket holders to come back the next morning for the make-up matches, etc.
