After seeing the Kooza show last April for my birthday with my boyfriend I've set higher standards for the Cirque du Soleil company. I was disappointed with the overall production of Wintuk. There were a only a few acts that were "thrill" worthy. I would've given this 3 or 4 stars based on the performers on stage, but feel this performance wasn't the best the Cirque company could have done.
Wintuk was great for my 6 year old. Not so great for my 4 year old. Having seen other Cirque performances, this was not my favorite. There were lots of "floor acts" and very few catch your breath moments. But it was still Cirque and they put on a great show.
This show was so much fun for my whole family. My son loved the skateboarding and bike riding. My daughter loved the hula hoop girl and my mom and I loved absolutely everything! Take the whole family!
loved the show, Kooza is strategically set better as there is more room to experiment with talent. Stage at the Garden is limited, thus talent is limited, but overall recommended.
Other family members and friends said Wintuk was an excellent show. Without a doubt it is, excellent and amazing. Well worth seeing!
Wintuk was a wonderful family experience! The stage setting and the costumes were fantastic, the music was beautiful and the show a pure joy!!
I loved the show. The expressive light-poles, the dogs, the contortionist was amazing. really like the storks also.I would recommend putting on a special day-time show for the disabled population.
Cirque Du Soleil has mastered the art of keeping audience captive. During the show WINTUK there was great orchestrated performance in every corner and in every character on the stage. As always Cirque Du Soleil have perfected the art of creating remarkable stage decoration etc, the cast and their talents were outstanding. I would recommend this show to every one if they want to have their life to be energized.
I attended the preview show on 11/11. I really enjoyed the humor and the talent in this show. Everyone should see the stunts that the performers are capable of!
This show was wonderful. I would recommend it to people of all ages. It is constant excitement. The ending is so great - a must see show. This was my second Cirque du Soleil show and I am looking forward to seeing more of their shows.
Wintuk was beautiful, amazing and breath taking. Loved every minute of it. Thanks
Perfect combination and harmony of music and visuals; dance, acrobatic elements and humor in a fairy-tale. Do not miss it! Unforgettable...
Having seen Cirque Du Soleil's "La Nouba" show at Walt Disney World, I had very high expectations for "Wintuk". My wife and I were NOT disappointed. The staging, music, colors -- everything was very well done. The "snowstorm" at the end of the performance was the icing on a very delicious "cake"! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
I think it was a nice Broadway show. But way far from a what I expect, kids still loving it.
I saw 5 Cirque du Soleil shows and this is the worst i have seen. The Theatre Madison Square Garden is not adequate for Cirque du Soleil shows, and the performance was poor.
