    Disappointed

by Disappointed9999 on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

The show could have been great, but the MSG staff were awful. I missed half the show due to late arrivals. If you show up late, you should be made to wait till intermission as they do on Broadway. It is not fair to the people who were on time to make them miss half the show because others are late. My fellow audience members need a lesson in etiquette as well. SHUT THE i-PHONES, CELL PHONES AND CAMERAS OFF! Major distraction, shows no concern for others and violates the NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY rule in place with Cirque. MSG Staff need to crack down on those people. I loved Kooza at Randalls Island this summer. If the audience control issues were not there, I probably would have enjoyed the show more. Now I have no intention of seeing another one. Who needs to pay hundreds of dollars and then have to deal with obnoxious neighbors. I'll stay home and save money. I will probably need it to pay the coming increase in taxes...lol! Really unfortunate. The Cirque people are so talented!

    WE LOVED IT!

by Showbug5 on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

Wintuk was fantastic! My fiance and I went as a fun way to start the new season of holidays and we were amazed! This was our 4th Cirque du Soliel show and each one is amazing in its own way! In August, we saw "O" in Las Vegas and didn't think another show could compare, but Wintuk was just as good!! It's a wonderful show for couples, young and old, and families with kids of all ages! Its fun and exciting and colorful the entire time!

    Wintuk was great!!!

by ethnicity on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

My family and I enjoyed the show tremendously. The kids were very excited to see so may different skaters incorporated in the show. The performers were great. I was a little disappointed to see so many mistakes made. Even my kids were able to notice when an error was made. I mean after all, this is Cirque du Solei, I expected perfection from all of the performers. However, even though it wasn't perfect, it did bring us to the reality that these were human beings entertaining us. It made the show seem more real. To the point that my 11 year old has decided that next year he will be working in the show as the main characters' younger brother. He is writing himself in the show and he wants to make sure the main character looks like the advertisement. A blonde boy not brunette. Gotta love it!!

    Fun for the whole family

by AvidCirquejunkie on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

Wintuk was my 8th Cirque show. I would say it differed in the sense that this one was more geared towards families with kids. Of course I love the amazing and unique stunts however the overall theme was for a family crowd. I found that there were less stunts than other shows. Perhaps the low ceiling prevented it from the full extent of the mouth dropping typical entertainment of the cirque team.

    was very cool

by abcohen on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

I 'm a fan - I dont know why they promote it to such young children - I think 6-7 year olds and up is a good way to go... younger kids wont follow the story and they wont get the tricks being done on stage...

    Decent show

by vm108 on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

Overall the show was decent. The first half was entertaining with some cool tricks. The entire second half of the show could have been eliminated. In addition, the venue was not the best as some of the tricks were above the drop ceiling and could not be viewed by half of the audience.

I enjoyed the show. However, I was disappointed with the seating. Although I was towards the back of the theater, I did anticipate being able to see just fine. However, the group infront of us were moving around a lot, taking pictures, and one child was up and down a lot during the performance. It was a distraction needless to say, and my son and I left after the first half. We did enjoy the first half of the show and wish we could have seen the rest. The cast was incredible and their performance was amazing!

    Wintuk is a Winner

by kanchusee on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

The choreography, the music, the effects, the stage.....all excellent. If you want to bring children, 5 and up seemed to be the ones enjoying it the most. The younger ones seemed distracted and/or distressed because of all the commotion and noise.

by KNOWMAN on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

I HAVE BEEN ON "KOOZA" BEFORE, AND I WAS GOING WITH SMILE ON MY FACE, UNFORTUNATELLY, THAT WAS AVEREDGE SHOW WITH NOTHING SPECIAL IN IT. MAYBE THEIR NEW "BANANA SHPEEL" WILL BE BETTER. I WILL GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE.

    Amazing

by Stormy2000 on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

The props and settings was amazing. The acrobats feats was an absolute delight. I would recommend this to anyone. Adults and Children would love this. Don't forget to get cotton candy, it comes with a Wintuck Cirque Du Soleil hat.

    Not worth the price!

by Lynn4 on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

I have seen 2 other Cirque's and this was by far the worst! It reminded me of the old Ed Sullivan show with the jugglers and tumbling acts. Althought the juggler was the best part of the evening. One of the giant birds had a wardrobe malfunction and his/her body showed. A whole evening of tumbling etc is not what I paid $75 for. At least with Ed Sullivan you got some pretty good singers also!

    Wintuk should be tucked away

by Windbreak on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

I was highly disappointed. I was expecting an extrodinary display of acrobatic feats with elaborate visual display that is Cirque Du Soleil's signature. However, what I was subjected to (at a high ticket price) was some simple ball tricks, some twirling on a trampoline, some simple bicycle tricks and visual effects that had no theme. What I am most surpised at, is how this show continues to run. I am sure by the response of the audience (they were not clapping) that they were equally disappointed. I think Cirque Du Soleil should go back to the drawing board--this is an embarrasment! There is nothing remotely magically about this winter wonderland.

    Pretty Awesome

by Freebs on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

I took my girlfriend to this event as part of a birthday gift and I can say with all honesty I was extremely please with the performance. While I could have done without the story line, the fun and anticipation came from the performers. They truly were excellent, and if given the opportunity, I would see them again. My only drawback was the seating at the WaMu Theater wasn't ideal. If your lucky enough to have a small person in the row in front of you, You shouldn't have a problem. However, if a 6 foot man the size of a truck is sitting in front of you, you may have a a problem.I at times felt like one of the contortionists in the show in-order to navigate to view the performance. Bottom line is that is was a Great time!

    Great for kids

by ellekay on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

We were 3 grandmothers alone- expecting the usual lyrical, exotic, sensuous productions we have seen before and expecting at Cirque du Soleil. this one is strictly for the youngsters -the music , the hip-hop and "street" dancing, the acrobatics on bicycles and skateboards- not for us, the older set. We would have enjoyed it if we had children with us.- the little ones we saw, the teenagers were in awe.

    Cirque Du Soleil : Wintuk

by studlyman on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

This show was decent. With several shining displays of athleticism and coordination. Overall I do not believe it was worth the full price they charged, maybe at the discounted rates they are offering now. The makeup was overdone, and the costumes seemed odd. Who let the dogs out? Please cage them back up. I could keep going on, but it would just seem like show bashing. I hope this helps you make an informed decision.

    Wintuk's just ok

Compared to other CDS shows, this is just ok. The second act is much better than the first.

    Disappointing

by Anthony9 on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

If you have children, then Wintuk is recommended. However, I was disappointed. The performances were similar to other acrobatics and clown acts I've seen before. There was not a "Wow" moment.

    Not the best of Cirque

by PeterBD on 11/12/09WaMu Theater At Madison Square Garden - New York

After seeing multiple Cirque du Soleil shows, this was a disappointment. Second act was somewhat better, but still not great. Music was not typical for Cirque and was a detraction. Kids behind us were bored and wanted to go home half-way through the show.
