Cirque du Soleil: Varekai Tickets

This was a performance of very talented people and yet my only complaint is with the clowns. They were dressed in a nondescript black bottoms with a red jacket which made some circus goers think they were employees and the gags seemed to have fallen flat early on. Their costumes could have been more in line with the forest creatures of Varekai but perhaps exaggerated or comical and audience members may have caught on earlier what was afoot. The rest of the show was spectacular! Overall, I love these shows.

Brought some of my acro students and my husband. Lots of giggles! Very inspirational for my tumblers!! Wasn't a clear story line so the kiddos were a little confused, but once I told them to just enjoy the show it was great!

I love going to this it is so entertaining not only beautiful acrobatic preformances but also the funny little outtakes.

I loved Cirque Du Soleil since I saw them for the very first time about 12 years ago or so. and I had the chance to watch several of they show, the movie I was there the first night and now I m watching g the documentary thru Hulu Plus....I love it I love them and I was so happy that I went to this one VAREKAI is amazing. Thank you to all of you to make this shows a very great one. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Started a little slow but wow what an ending. They really were amazing.

the comedy mixed in to the show was unexpected and added to the show. The first half of the show was a little slow and I was afraid my girls were going to be disappointed in the show. The second half kicked it up a bunch and they all were extremely impressed and talked all the way home about it.

Amazing athletes/artists provide an outstanding experience that is a feast for the eyes, ears and imagination!

I have been a follower of Circue for quite some time. Through a Ticketmaster email I learned that the show was coming to Shreveport. I mentioned the show to some friends and it worked out to be a three couple birthday celebration. The other two couples were not familiar with Circue du Soleil and really had a fabulous time. The costumes are unique and one of the things I like about Circue is that not only do the main performers do an amazing job but that there is always a "support cast" on stage. They are in character and though they probably have specific tasks to perform they add to the performance by adding to the scope of what is being presented. It makes for a larger presentation than just the main performance and if you care to take notice, there is almost a complete "sub-performance" going on. It's difficult to do this and not draw away from the major focus but Circe always does it well.

At first sight of the stage, I anticipated a very creative performance utilizing the poles set on the back of the stage. I was disappointed that these devices were not used more; we had floor seats which were often blocked by on an apparatus on stage was expecting much better views than what we had. The story line was poorly developed in my mind and a technical glitch with the lights brought that whole performance to a halt for about 3-5 minutes -- maybe more. The performers were very good; like the "net" trapeze work most of all with the 2 male trapeze work and jugglers also adding a dramatic and fun dimension to the show.

Attending this show was quite an experience for both me and my wife. Never seen or heard anything like it before. The performer, musicians and soloists were all off the chain.

Loved the whole thing!! The dancers and acrobatics were unbelievable! The aerial choreography was stunningly graceful and captivating!

Varekai was AMAZING! Actually, anything Cirque du Soleil does is amazing. They are all so accomplished, and their timing is wondrous. As I watch them it seems I am looking in on another world in some far away planet.

Too much of a play not enough circus acts (acrobatic )

Varekai was amazing. The costumes and talent was fabulous. I loved the magician and assistant. They were so funny!!! I would recommend this for anyone. The music and most of the words are maded up. It's really not an issue if you do a little research before hand on the story.

We loved the show! It was both fun and breath taking! Worth every penny!

The show was unforgettable. The interaction with the audience adds even more fun to a wonderful show. The costumes were vivid, artistic, detailed and a joy to watch in motion. The music flawless and beautiful. The performers themselves were incredible!! From the amazement and dedication that shines bright through their performance. To their perfectly honed bodies. My party left the Centurylink Center in pure awe. We smiled, laughed and talked in excitement about the show for days past. We all cannot wait for the next performance to come back to our area.

This is my fourth time going to a Cirque du Soleil show and based on my previous experiences this show lacked everything, from creativity to the music sound. There wasn't that many performances, their stage props were simple, and the sound wasn't that great at all. I don't know if it was due to the location, if it is then I will not attend another event there. Will I ever attend another Cirque Du Soleil? A definitely YES!!!

This show was absolutely amazing. Awesome acrobatics, beautiful singing, artistic interpretation, and even comedy skits. I would recommend it to anyone who has ever thought about seeing Cirque de Soleil.
