Cirque de soleil: varekai was amazing! I really enjoyed when they did the stuff in the air.
This was one of the best events I've ever been to! Pure entertainment for a couple of hours. I wouldn't hesitate to buy tickets for cirque again. I recommend this for anyone of any age. Awesome!!
Kudos to the performers, actors, etc. as this isn't anything personally with them, but the fact that the show in general wasn't worth the money paid. We drove far, paid over $300 and we thought the Acrobatic show at the CNE for free was better. Really upsetting and disappointing! I've been to a ton of shows before and at most, I would've paid $20. We did not understand the storyline at all, the acts were "okay". The stage was small and before you know it, they were coming out bowing because they were done. We were all like, "This is it?" We paid $60 each for the Aladdin theatre show performance and that was AMAZING. This was a huge disappointment for my first "Cirque du Soleil" performance.
I have seen quite a few cirque de soleils and this was by far one of the best I have seen, my 13 year old son was on the edge of his seat the entire time!
This show was definitely amazing. I had a great time taking my mom to her first live show. Fantastic job.
The critics' catch phrases, "visually stunning", "breathtaking", etc, simply cannot do justice to a production like this. The costumes and lighting were vibrant, comic relief perfectly timed, and choreography was astonishing. I had hoped for nothing less at my first Cirque du Soleil show. The downsides to this performance were not in the show but in the venue. The crowd seemed reluctant to stop talking at times and it seemed that no one was safe from having some part of the lighting shined directly into their eyes for at least parts of the presentation. These minor annoyances were well worth the experience!
Great show - very entertaining for all ages. I would say the music may be slightly frightening for young children at times. Top notch performance and the venue was excellent as well.
Show was kind of on the boring side compared to other Cirque Du Soleil shows I've seen previously. We had floor seats, and were unable to see quite a bit of the action on the stage. Others around us were asking to be moved to higher seats for the same reason. Save your money and either sit higher up or don't go at all.
This show was very good especially considering it's a traveling show and they are using stages that aren't built for their specific show. The stunts and acrobats always amaze me at Cirque du Soleil shows. I'm sure there are no bones in their bodies based on the way many of them can bend. The music was lively and the costuming was colorful and fun.
Varekai was enjoyable, as all Cirque shows are. However, this one was not as impressive as some of the other Cirque shows I've been to. Recommended, but if there's an option, I'd pick a different show.
As always, excellent performance! Cirque Du Soleil never disappoints. The costumes, music and performances were awesome. The clowns were entertaining and funny. We loved their skits. I would recommend this show and any Cirque Du Soleil show for a great night of family entertainment.
The show was quirky and eccentric as you would expect. The acrobatics/gymnastics could rival an Olympics. We had fantastic seats and were extremely happily entertained. It was worth every penny to see. Recommend it to families.
This was an amazing show, it put me into the mind of a gymnastic Broadway production. I recommend this show to anyone.
As usual, we were extremely excited about seeing another Cirque show. The normal comedian start out in the floor section led to a big buildup for the open and then..... delayed because of technical difficulties. I'm not sure what was going on but the entire show seemed out of sync. It was good but not as good as usual. A little too much comedy and not enough of the "good stuff" (strength, tumbling, flying, etc). If you've never seen a Cirque show before, you probably wouldn't have noticed. For me, this was my least favorite of all I've seen.
I would go c this show everytime it comes to town. My son and myself was just mesmerized with the whole show from beginning to end. The actor was was phenomena, costumes was jungle exotic very colorful. In the words of my son " I SO WANT TO DO THAT WHEN I GROW UP". I recommend for anyone who has the opportunity to c this show please do so u won't regret It.
A must see for everyone! This is our 2nd event. I will never miss another Cirque du Soleil event at the CenturyLink Center
I was never board. I was on the edge of my seat the whole show. The performers were beyond talanted. AMAZING!
Awesome show!!! Now I must see the Michael Jackson show in Vegas.
the best event I've seen in years !! we were fortunate to be close enough to see the facial expressions of the cast, they engaged the audience with eye contact, waved to children and were so wonderful ! I would say any seat would be great, sit to close and you miss some of the largeness, but enjoy the personality of the cast. wow, what a dilemma !!
