It was a fun, lively show. Great music and great talent. I highly recommend this show for a fun family experience. We had three generations at this show and each were enthralled and engaged. Not easy to do for ones aged 10-70!
I am a die-hard Cirque du Soleil fan and have seen as many shows as possible including Vegas, Florida, and traveling shows both in the tent and in stadiums. I consider myself a Cirque addict for the last 20 years. I was sorely disappointed in Axel. The first half made me wonder why I spent money on tickets the entire time I was sitting there. The music was meh and I really did not enjoy the vocal artists. The friend I took with me was experiencing Cirque du Soleil for the first time and she snoozed a fair bit of the show she was so bored. Hopefully the experience hasn't turned her off of trying other shows, but she mentioned she may not buy a ticket to Ovo as she had planned after seeing Axel. The second half was better. There was some more interesting ice skating, the aerial silks style act with chains was unique and the aerial silks and bungy/trapeze acts were pretty good. Though I did enjoy those three acts, they didn't really make up for how lacking the rest of the show was. I would not recommend Axel to anyone as seeing it may turn people off from delving into the world of Cirque du Soleil further.
Im really fan of cirque du Soleil...but c'mon guys ...AXEL was one of the more boring shows ever ... the singer was amazing ... but the "show " dont have any connection.. 👎

I have been to several Cirque du Soleil shows, and I always love them. Axel was more of a musical dance/ice skating show than some of their other shows which feature more of the circus-act acrobatics. I probably wouldn't recommend this as the first Cirque show somebody ever sees, but as a standalone show, it was superb. Absolutely amazing performers.
We went to the last show on Sunday. It was fabulous! However, we were on the fence about going and from Saturday morning, until we bought the tickets Sunday, we kept receiving messages that there were less than 100 tickets left. However, when the show started, the seating was about half full. I get creating a “sense of urgency”, however, I felt it was blatantly, false information.
Cirque shows are always amazing. This combined all the usual acrobatic stunts with ice dancing, aerial performances and great music. Well worth seeing.
The first hour was pretty boring, we were so disappointed. However, the last 30 minutes were absolutely amazing and is what we expected from the entire show.
Vulgar performances and costumes in depressing colors and weird styles.
One thing I'll say... I didn't see any warning about strobe lights. That's a concern for someone who experiences seizures. Overall, I really enjoyed the show. There was a LOT happening, and at times it made the live-action hard to see. I would have liked to see more people than flashing lights and graphics. Though the big silver ball reflecting what was projected on the ice was BADASS!
Story line did not make much sense. Was very difficult to follow. I did not feel the oce was large enough for the amount of movement that was happening.
The most awesome show that I've ever seen in my life. The artistry, the energy, the joy of the performers is unsurpassed. The costumes, the music, the innovation--WOW!
Very Entertaining. Singers had great voices; the skaters were entertaining; and the aerial performances were outstanding...very exciting.
This show was one of our Valentine presents to each other and we are so glad it was! The show was full of eye popping excitement the whole 2 1/2 hours. I can say we were actually sad to see it end. It is a show for the whole family...our only regret is that we didn't have everyone with us, but we will next year. I am already looking to see if they are coming back in 2021. My husband and I had been to Cirque du Soleil in the past, but we had never seen it on ice...a whole new experience. The music, the talent and professionalism of the performers, and the lighting was mind-blowing. If you are thinking about going, think no more, just book your ticket...you will not regret it.
Performers were no doubt talented. However, the show was confused and unfocused. A lot going on at times, then lulls. 2nd half a little more entertaining than 1st, but still disappointing considering the cost.
I would like more that in this area. Love everything
As with all Cirque shows, this one was great. The ice dancing and acrobatics were amazing, as were the costumes. The only complaint I had about it was that the lighting somewhat distracted from the show and made it hard to see the performers.
The show was great and the dinner was amazing. 200 stars plus

Amazing performance from beginning to end. Breathtaking performers and excellent show. I would most definitely recommend this show to anyone. This was my first show like this and I will definitely be looking forward to seeing more.
