Cirque du Soleil: AXEL Tickets

There were, indeed, some talented performers in Axel. The aerialists were very good and the skaters who were main characters were skillful. The vocalist was outstanding! However, the rest of the cast gave the show the feel of a high school production. Very few could dance well. The choreography was amateurish and the performance of the choreography was poor, out of sync and lazily executed. Also, I wasn’t sure if the martial arts “master” was supposed to be a comedic character or if he was just bad. I love the Cirque, but this was a true disappointment.

The show and feats of athleticism where impressive. I did not quite get the story line before or after having seen the performance. Fun intro to appease the audience while the crew worked through some technical difficulties.

Absolutely breathtaking! It was me and my husband and so worth the money. We paid almost $120 for both tickets but it was worth every penny. Amazing show, amazing artists, great storyline and fun in between. Absolutely recommend!

One of the most amazing shows I’ve ever seen. These performers are incredibly gifted. If you’ve never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, you are missing out. It is money well spent. I would recommend this show to anyone! Great experience

Ticket barcodes on phone didnt work. Tried to relocate us to other seats which were not as good as purchased tickets. Show was really good except for the "robot dog" which seemed pointless and took away from the beauty of Cirque du Soleil AXEL.. Overall, good performance

The show was amazing. Best cirque show ever. It’s as if cirque, figure skating and music had a love child.

Took my thirteen year old granddaughter who ice skates to the show. She had a fantastic time and so did I. Amazing and talented performers. Would highly recommend.

This was different from any other event or any other Cirque de Soleil. It’s good to read the story line before you enter the show.

The start was delayed due to technical difficulties. The first half left me wondering why we came to this show. The second half made up somewhat for the first half. Still a fan of the Cirque.

Lights right in our eyes ruined some of the show. I have been to the real thing and this show was just nowhere near that. Only the finale was good. The rest of the show was skimpy and cheap. Don't waste your money.

This was a truly wonderful show. I had expected mostly ice skating but there was a lot of acrobatics, live music, a mechanical dog and fun!

We enjoyed the performance. The first half was a little slow, but the second part was wonderful. The finale was the best. Good singer, good skating. Good acrobatics. A little hard to follow the plot.

It was a great performance! Lots of variety and talent! It is amazing the things people can do!

The show started off a little slow. I was excited when I recognized the song Creep and thought the whole performance would have been recognizable songs but that was not the case. I feel the venue size in comparison to the set took away from the experience. The second act got better. Will not be recommending this one.

Music and theme are more oriented toward the millennial age. Felt sad for the two performers whose act flubbed. The ladder act and the two oriental girls were very good. My husband said it was overall boring; however, the second half was some better; we were hoping for more unique ice skating.

With the combination of ice skating, acrobatics, and live music this show just grabs your attention from beginning to end. Quite mesmerizing and worth every penny!

It was a lot of advertising about the AXEL and the 40% off tickets. We did get the tickets just after they went of sale. We have seen other shows of the Cirque du Soleil in most in Las Vegas. The shows have always great and exciting. We did get a great seat at the Columbus (GA) Civic Center as we live there. It was not a full audience. The show was good and enjoying. The different parts were about just skating. Some of the skaters were held up in the air by cables and etc. The skaters were all very great in skating a lot of times. The other types of exciting things were by gymnastics in the air, being jumping up into the air and flying up and off to the net, and some type of fighting while skating. Must show have a theme, but I could not figure out the story. The show will very enjoy and I would see another Cirque du Soleil show as I could. Everything was great that night about the show and the civic center.

We took our children 13 and 9. They really enjoyed it. Our daughter fell asleep by the end though due to the late performance and quiet song and mood lighting at the end. My opinion, I liked the main performance. I didn't really get the robo-dog and felt it was distracting and ruined the mood of the rest of the performers. Maybe it was put in for the kids as my daughter loved it. I just felt it was like throwing a tap dancer into a ballet performance. Just didn't make sense. The only negatives I've really seen on this show is that it strayed from CDS's roots. I guess I can understand that. If you are looking for pure circus, then go to a regular show. This was an ice skating performance and you've got to sacrifice some of that circus stuff to skate. I thought they meshed the two ideas into a great performance.

This was the second time seeing the show on this tour run and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful choreography, music and acts. Would highly recommend seeing this show if you have the opportunity.
