Cirque Dreams Illumination Tickets

My husband and I took our two sons, ages 13 and 15, to see Cirque Dreams hoping it would be similar to the many Cirque du Soleil shows he and I have been to. While it doesn't quite compare, it is along the same lines; however, the acts are on a much smaller scale. Unfortunately, many of the acts are over done wherein the same acrobatics are repeated multiple times. Overall, it was an enoyable show and the boys thought it was great! But, if you are expecting Cirque du Soleil, you might be disappointed.

I love cirque I have been to many shows in Las Vegas, it was nice to see one locally. It had a great theme and great acrobats.

It's been a long goal of mine to see a Cirque performance. It exceeded my expectations!

Was afraid I'd be disappointed after seeing so many Cirque Du Soleil shows; however, this event truly was wonderful--great comedic elements--some black light elements--and overall great acrobatics!

Fantastic!!! I was mesmerized. I would suggest it to anyone.

I can't say anything bad about the central acts at all. They were amazing! Most of those had me on the edge of the seat. However, it all seemed disconnected from each other and the transitions from one act to the next seemed like they were written by a high shcool drama class. The transitions were akward and really detracted from the main events.

The performers were amazingly talented, in some cases, far beyond human ability. The acrobats and other performers were simply amazing, and the show was hilarious. Possibly the best live show I have ever seen. There is so much going on at any given time, my only regret is that I might have missed something.

AMAZING skill by these performers! I enoyed the 1st half of the show much better the the 2nd half, but overall is was a PHENOMENAL experience!

The show was pretty amazing. I thought it would have been a little more extreme. But the 4 girls in the box swinging and spinning was my favorite part.

Fascinating yet a lot of the acts were redundant and were done over and over.

The show did contain some physically challenging feats, but it contained nothing new. The scenes have been done many times before by others. The only interesting part was the improve part.

I'm a huge Cirque Fan, I just love the way this show had an urban feel. I have seen a lot of Cirque shows in Las Vegas, and this one was more catered to a younger generation. It was fresh to see this show feature new talent like Robert Muraine (a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance). The entire show moved so quickly and effortless that before I knew it came to an end. I would definitely see it again!

Entertaining and amazing talent. Really enjoyed the performance. Just be sure to take your seat before the show begins. It begins on time and they lock the doors. You cannot then get in for 12 minutes.

I took my 13 and 11 year old grandkids and all 3 of us had the same reaction. The acts were terrific, but the singer was totally unnecessary. We couldn't understand anything she sang, and couldn't figure why the show needed her.

It was not as "fantastic" as I had hoped, ( I only have Cirque du Soleil to compare it to), but not bad for a little outing for the kids and family.

I enjoyed every minute! First time at this theater, really liked it will come back for other shows. These performers are awesome and so entertaining! I LOVED every minute!!

My grandkids and I really enjoyed the acts and overall show. However the 3 of us thought the reporter's singing was totally a distraction. We couldn't understand most of what she sang, and just didn't think she was necessary to the show at all.

Cirque Dreams Illumination was fantastic. I hope that other Cirque events will be available at Fred Kavli Theatre.

I think EVERYONE should see something performed by the Cirque troups. They are phenominal performers. I've taken my 9 yr old daughter each time they have been in Thousand Oaks. Can't wait for the next one!!
