Cincinnati Bengals Team History

The Cincinnati Bengals were founded by legendary head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Paul Brown, and played their first season in 1968. The Bengals got their name from Brown's coaching past, as tiger mascots had been a common thread throughout his career. The Bengals have won 11 AFC North Championship titles and three AFC Championship titles. They won their first division title as part of the AFC Central in 1970, becoming the first expansion team to win a championship in its first three years.

The Bengals first advanced to the Super Bowl during the 1981 and 1988 seasons, and then again in 2022 for Super Bowl LVI. Since 2005, the team has advanced to the playoffs nine times, including two AFC North Division titles.

    Bengals vs ravens

by sammie36 on 1/2/14Paul Brown Stadium - Cincinnati

Game was awesome. Cincinnati won. Seats stink so if u have the $ do not sit that far up. Luckily my son and husband had awesome seats and we switched. He found empty seats. Players look like ants from section 344.

My first NFL experience did not let me down! The atmosphere was full of Bengals admiration! I enjoyed myself immensely, however I would not bring my children to this event because of the amount of drunken fans! I look forward to seeing another game next season!

So much fun!! The atmosphere is great and although my seats were up high it was still an awesome view and great experience. Only negative is that the concession stand workers were incredibly slow.

I've been a Bengals fan for over 30 years and this was my first live game!!! It was cold ... extremely cold, but VERY fun! The whole experience was amazing! The stadium is awesome! I imagine it is beautiful in the summer/fall, sitting next to the river. It was an experience I will never forget! Who Dey!!!!

Enjoying an outdoor stadium was a great experience! There was an issue with the numbering of the rows causing some frustration between fellow spectators and myself. The rows in section 304 went 27, 29, 28, 30. The label on the seats nearest the wall (seats 15 and 16) should have been row 28 but was incorrectly labeled 29.

It was my first NFL game ever, I loved it, just wish tickets weren't so expensive

nice venue, the seats had great field views.

by Kalee86 on 12/11/13Paul Brown Stadium - Cincinnati

It was freezing, and the ref was literally pathetic, the NFL has apologized for a wrong call! The venue was great, even our high seats had a great view of the game, lots of accessible parking, respectable fans, and fun atmosphere.
