    Wonderful Day

    by Deb123 on 5/18/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

We've been going to Churchill Downs Mother's Day brunch for years. This year was another wonderful event. Everything went smoothly, from purchasing the tickets to getting to our table. The food was prepared well and there was a good variety. Bar service was also very good.

    It was ok

by Jen on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

I was disappointed that I paid for tickets ahead of time for everyone in my group and was told as we walked in that the mothers would’ve been free (so 4 of us). There were not many food options available in the general admission area and nobody could make a Shirley Temple or mocktail. The loss of another horse was very disturbing. It seemed to take too long to get the trailer out there and end the horse’s pain as he had completely shattered his leg. It was very disturbing to see and even more to consider his pain and anxiety in his final moments. Please figure out why we’ve lost so many horses in such a short period of time. This isn’t right.

    Nice day

by Jim on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

Service lacks a bit…buffet alittle slow and few options but the atmosphere and layout and view was terrific.

Matt Winn's - Not your best effort!

by B Sallee on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

The atmosphere and location are exceptional; however, the food was pitiful. At the price we paid for a party of six the food fell extremely short of the standards I would expect.

    Fun but….

by Linds on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

We were at Churchhill twice in the last two weeks once for the Derby, once for Mother’s Day. Give me a disabled or handicapped at Churchhill, You have a very difficult time! My 89 year old grandfather who is on a cane, was with us. There was no handicap parking. He walked a mile in and out of the track and definitely struggled. We asked multiple times for assistance or for a closer place that an Uber or Taxi could pick us up. We had no help. After the 45 min walk to get him in the gates, we had an hour wait to get him a bottle of water. Churchill is fun but be prepared to walk and wait a really long time for everything. It’s unfortunate they aren’t more accommodating and accessible.

Great way to spend Mothers Day.

by Jimmy on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

Good race card, good crowd, betting windows and parking were very good. One issue was food and drink were extremely long. Need more open for a big day like Mothers Day or allow fans to bring in food.

    Awesome

by Gigi on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

I really enjoyed the Mothers Day brunch and racing. Our server was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, and I was impressed by the food selection. It will probably become a tradition.

    construction in the way

by Barry on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

I really don't understand why Churchill Downs is doing all the construction during a race meet. This was very frustrating and made it difficult to get around. Just getting from my seat to place bets was an issue and took more time than usual.

    Fun time but expensive

by Tim on 5/17/23Churchill Downs - Louisville

The section was great, food was ok. The overall experience was great. Ticket prices and drink prices are way overpriced.
