Next up Rock will be collaborating with Steven Spielberg on a film about the life of Martin Luther King Jr. Rock will direct and produce the project, with Spielberg on board as executive producer. Chris Rock is a genius! I’ve always loved his way of expressing himself through his experiences and life. Inspiring for sure and I’m so blessed to have been in the room with his light, laughter and insight. He’s a GOAT for sure. Team Rock all day everyday!!

    Better than Kevin Hart

by Jess on 2/7/23Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

I enjoyed the show. In my opinion it was funnier than Kevin Hart’s show. There wasn’t any fancy backgrounds promotional items up there on the stage. It was Chris, the microphone, and the audience. The only part of the show I did NOT enjoy was him talking about how rich he is and how spoiled his kids are.

    VERY GLAD I WENT

by GERRY on 2/7/23Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The temperature that night was stiffening. Teens with the chill factor and I actually considered skipping the show even though the two tickets costed over $300. It was that cold. We braved it and glad we did. His warm up act was very good. When the guy came out everyone was thinking, "Okay, we have to suffer a little." But, it wasn't like that at all. He was truly funny and entertaining. Then came the entree...Chris Rock. And man did he rock. Extremely funny and I'm not really one for comedy shows. Of course he spoke of the slap heard round the world. Tied it into a joke about Beyonce and finished it off with "I'm just joking, JayZ. I don't need to get slapped by another rapper." From there it was on. Actually held everyone's attention through the entire 1.5 hours. No one was disappointed. I can say, some of our white friends seemed a little uneasy when he used the n-word, but hey, if I wasn't offended, don't you be. We were on the dress circle, so the seats are paired going up a ramp from almost stage level. We were in front and a white couple behind us. The guy laughed his butt off, but seems his girl was hesitant to display any amusement. It was worth the money, for sure!

    Entry Issues

by SarahB on 2/7/23Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The entry to the venue could have used work. There were about 4 entry points which created an insane line. People were wrapped around the building at 7:45 when the show was expected to start at 8. Turns out, they were locking everyone’s phones in pouches to prevent recording/photos. This would have been no issue if logistically it would have been planned better, especially since it was 36 degrees outside. They could have easily allowed people in, and pouched people’s phones at the SEVERAL entry points to seating. Many of us weren’t even able to get drinks because we relied on Apple Pay/Apple Wallet.

Awesome show full of laughs. Smart and clever comedy.

    by J W on 2/7/23Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The show started a little late due to another event in the area. Chris Rock came out after the opening act and absolutely killed it. Laughs all the way through the show.

    Would not go again

by BH on 2/7/23Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

Venue incredibly understaffed. Chris Rock requirement to use the Yondr bag system tied up entrance lines for an hour, keeping everybody waiting outside in cold freezing weather while clerks one by one locked each persons phone up in a bag. I'm fine with no phones, but then staff it properly to handle the security process. Show itself was OK.....use of the N word by Chris over 20 times was really unnecessary.

The show was great, but a little disorganized

by Alex on 2/7/23Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

Chris Rock has been a bucket list artists that I have wanted to see for a long time and he really delivered, the show was great. My only issue was the process of getting into the venue could have been more organized. Understanding the need for the Yondr pouches wasn't an issue, but identifying where the lines were and, getting people to the shorter lines could have been done better.

    Wait for Netflix

    by 757diva on 2/7/23Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

We paid for the VIP experience and that was not the case. We stood outside in line in 25 degrees weather waiting for over 40 minutes to get in to check-in our phones. They should have passed out the pouches while in line instead of waiting until we were at the door. There should have been a better way to streamline the process and to give VIP better access to the venue. We sat front row. The opening act was really good. Chris was just okay for us, but comedy is subjective. It seemed that the general post-show consensus was that the high-end tickets were not worth the money. We should have waited for Netflix.

    Did not start on time!

by Gary on 2/7/23Borgata Event Center - Atlantic City

Show did not start at 8PM, it was about 8:30 or more. I think the venue should let the guests know when there is a delay. We arrived at 7:30 and did not have anything to do since they locked up our phones.

by A. R. on 2/7/23Borgata Event Center - Atlantic City

80 percent of his material was recycled. A waste of money. He needed new material.

    Venue sucks

by Al on 2/6/23Borgata Event Center - Atlantic City

Chris was hilarious. Paid up for close seats only to find chairs were like kitchen chairs zip tied together. Would never see an event at Borgata again.

    Not Funny

by EM on 2/6/23Borgata Event Center - Atlantic City

I’ve followed Rock his entire career. People evolve and so has his comedy. Rock’s comedy has shifted. Comedians are edgy and go places for that laugh. Rock has always touched on race, but now when he talks about people of color, it comes across as degrading. I guess he feels he needs to cater to the majority of his fans, because 98% of the people there were non-ethnic.

    Funny at First

by Slap on 2/6/23Borgata Event Center - Atlantic City

Funny at First. Really dragged at the end. Long story about him being rich and his daughter studying at a boarding school in France. Hard for the common fan to relate.

    Chris ROCKS

    by Theresa on 2/6/23

We saw Chris in Norfolk. VA. He was amazing..there was a snafu with the sound for about 15 mins. And he kept us all laughing until it was fixed. I will pay top dollar to see him ...he is one of the funniest comedians in stand up.

    funny

    by badhair on 1/23/23

He gave us extra time in STL. He was great. Get there early due to the phone jacket entry. The line to enter the venue was a mile long due to lazy, yellow vests not telling us to use a faster entry.
