    Small venue awesome!

    by MJMF03 on 7/9/12Birchmere - Alexandria

Great show, great sound. Really liked the small venue. Standing room only. Do not be looking for Black Crowes music. I think they sang 1 or 2 BC songs. Excellent musicians, and thoroughly enjoyed the show! Chris Robinson has an amazing voice.

    Dopeness

by RB5G on 7/3/12Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

CRB rock. The band is sick and Chris Robinson brings his best to the stage each night. I've seen them twice and will undoubtedly see them every time they come around.

    Brotherhood Unbelievable

by rockyrox66 on 7/2/12Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

first of all i saw this show in the same exact place last year around the same time. last year I thought it was great this year it was More AMAZING than ever. This room has great acoustics and Brotherhood just rocked my soul down deep. Forget Crowes covers (there was stupid drunken idiot screaming for BC stuff) not needed or necessary this is a truly great band that is now more polished than ever.

    Chris Robinson Brotherhood

by Mr09Lowrider on 6/26/12A and R Music Bar - Columbus

The A and R was a great place to see a show and CBR did not disappoint…….as long as you like jam bands. CBR is NOT the Black Crowes for sure but I thought it was a great concert.

    The Chris Robinson Brotherhood-W-O-W!!!

by CRBfan on 6/23/12A and R Music Bar - Columbus

A&R Music Bar--small venue, was packed (sold out!) Standing room only but definitely worth it....the band was AMAZING!!! You could tell the guys were having fun and so was the crowd. Roughly 3 hour show and I did not want it to end :) A MUST go see again!

Chris Robinson rocked. Mark Dutton was extraordinary. It reminded me a little of the Allman Bros, with a touch of Dead energy (maybe it was the incense...). We had a great time.

    ...Brotherly

by Coyboy on 12/11/11El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

What an excellent show...the band sounded wonderful, the crowd was peaceful, and the dancing was superb. It was a much needed break from reality.

Cool Venue. Sound quality is great. The band is a lot tighter since the Echoplex shows. Pretty rad.

Chris Robinson Brotherhood Could have been Better

by kookykg on 12/7/11Somerville Theatre - Somerville

I'm a big fan of the Black Crowes and Chris Robinson, but I found the Brotherhood to be pretty boring. I'm not a big Grateful Dead fan and it was very Grateful Deadish. Too much twangy guitar for me and the songs seemed to go on forever. I saw the show at a very small and intimate venue and I felt that Chris Robinson did not do a very good job interacting with the audience. He barely said 2 words even when the crowd tried to engage him. I was falling asleep through it and left before it ended.

    Absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

by SteelRobin on 12/5/11Aladdin Theater - Portland

The show was amazing. Absolutely unforgettable! The music, the band, the atmosphere & the company were perfect for me. Best show I've been to next to any Crowes show. Eugene was also phenomenal. Wouldn't miss another show for anything. Can't wait for them to return!! I will be making any show nearby if I can!!

    chris robinson brotherhood

    by Intruder96 on 12/5/11Aladdin Theater - Portland

muddy sound, little to no interaction with the audience, more of a jamb band feel than a concert, this show is what we used to see in the 70's and I think Chris and the boys wish they were back there. I can appreciate their want or need to express themselves but the days of fifteen minute leads and such are long past.

    Brotherhood...

by tripplej on 12/5/11Aladdin Theater - Portland

So nice to hear real genuine soulful strait up rock and roll. I guess I've been saying that about the Crows for twenty years now, but this represents what I love most about their music. Soulful songs that build and grow in rhythm, volume and inspiration. Thanks, brothers. Also enjoyed partying with the bass player a bit after the show at the bar next door. Again, down to earth and genuine. How many rock stars will Karaoke with drunken fans... well, they were pretty girls.

    Chris Robinson Brotherhood was fantastic!

    by MsWatch1 on 12/5/11Aladdin Theater - Portland

I saw The Black Crowes when they came to Portland at the end of their last tour together a year ago this month. They were great! However, I enjoyed Chris Robinson just about as well in a much smaller venue (The Aladdin Theater vs. Arlene Schnitzer Hall). The harmonies were awesome between Chris, the other guitarist, and bassist. I was bummed that they started 40 minutes late, however. Chris' choice of songs and the setlist order was super great too! The only thing I would have changed would be to add one more Dead tune. He sang Bertha plus Tumbleweed in Eden which he performed with Phil Lesh and Friends. I loved Chris when he was with Phil and Friends. I would definitely see the band again. Chris has such an eclectic voice. He can sing straight rock, some gospel, and play some jazz rhythms as well. I also enjoyed his guitar playing. He jammed really well with the other guitarist. He only played the guitar about 50% of the time during The Black Crowes show I attended.

    Simply Great GiG

by zmoonb on 12/5/11Aladdin Theater - Portland

I have been a Crowes fan for years so I was not sure what to expect being unfamiliar with CRB. My wife and I both really enjoyed the gig at the Aladdin Theater. CRB rocked the small theater and the music was excellent! I would go and see them again the music the songs and the attitude was awesome. Well Done CRB...come back to PDX soon! PEACE OUT :)

    Chris Robinson

    by Johnson81 on 12/5/11Aladdin Theater - Portland

Good concert. Saw them several months prior and it is obvious that they are beginning to meld into a fine band. Keep it freaky! One con....they were about 30 minutes late causing me to lose my buzz to some degree.. :(
