CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:
Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.

Great concert would love to see Chris Jasen again!!!!
Chris Janson is the Opry’s newest member....he has moves like Jagger with a country twist! His talents include song writing, singing, playing harmonica, drums & piano! He captivated audience members from age two to seventy two! He was very appreciative and proud of his second sold out show at the Ryman! Most importantly he is very humble! Ticket prices with meet and greet were very affordable compared to other venues in town. Great job Chris! His opening act Michael Ray didn’t disappoint either!
Chris was fantastic...didn't realize he was such a talented musician...music was upbeat and fun, but he played for an hour and a half and didn't even bother with an encore. Felt kind of cheated for the money we spent. :(
What an awesome concert, from his talent to his integrity we enjoyed it all!!!
Chris Janson put on a Great Concert! He is very talented and can play all instruments. Loved his drum solo. Everyone had fun high energy.
This was my first Chris Janson concert. He was charming, funny, energic and thankful to his fans for showing up! Loved that he shared his faith and stories of family. Great concert and would go again. Wishing Chris much success!!!
Chris is one of the best entertainers i've ever had the pleasure of seeing.
Chris Janson puts on a greats show! I had the best time with my daughter, he’s a must see. I will see him again in concert!!😍😍😍
Chris Janson is an amazing entertainer!! Super high energy and so fun for the entire show. I’ll see him again any chance I get!
Amazing performances from Jordan and Chris. The Amphitheater at sunset is a great place!
Chris really gets the crowd involved in his performances! He doesn’t wait til the end to play his number one hits for you either! Without following a set list Chris keeps us all on our toes. You never know if he will play the drums, the keyboard, or his harmonica next! If he had a residency in town I would see the show multiple times!!!!
Honestly, I got tickets because I wanted to see the opening singer. I only knew a couple Chris Janson songs and I totally regret not looking up his music because he's amazing! As soon as he got up on stage and started the first song I knew I was going to love him! He has such great stage presence, he's interacting with the audience, playing harmonica, dancing. Chris has the biggest smile and it makes you smile, seeing him having fun up there makes it such a fun concert. It was the best show I've ever been to. As soon as we got back to the hotel we got tickets to see him when he comes closer to home. Chris Janson is my new favorite, we listened to his music all the way from Vegas to California. I can't wait to see him again!
The show was spectacular! Jordon Davis and Chris Jason had me singing, dancing, and liv'n life to the fullest. It was perfect weather for this outdoor event.
Everytime I see him, Chris gives an excellent performance. He is o e of my favorites!
Always a great show! This is my 3rd time seeing Chris in concert. The first time I saw him, he was opening for Toby Keith and I won a meet & greet! He was the same now as he was back then.....down home country boy and high energy entertainer!! You can have a good time just watching him have a good time on stage!! I would see him every I could!!
Chris put on fantastic show. There wasnt a bad seat anywhere. Just wish it was a longer concert.
His performance was great! The Venue on the other hand was ridiculous! Way too crowded, chairs were smooshed togther. The rows were so close that the people behing us knocked over our drinks!
Chris has incredible energy and great songwriting ability. He has a great voice and good rapport with the crowd. I would like to see him again.
Chris Janson put on a great show! He got the crowd involved and everyone was having a good time. I like that he told stories before the songs and sang some songs that had inspired him when writing his own music. I can't give 5*'s because the venue is less than ideal. We didn't buy premium tickets and I didn't really have high expectations but I was annoyed that there was hardly room to stand up at your seats because the rows were so tightly squeezed together. It seemed that there was slightly more space in the sections in front of us. The line for the bar was really long through the entirety of the show. Maybe they could have hired more help at the bar? That's not Chris Jansons problem though he was great! We would definitely go see him again!
