Chris Gethard is a New Jersey-born comedian, actor and author. He previously hosted the “Beautiful/Anonymous” podcast and “The Chris Gethard Show” and is now the host of “New Jersey Is The World” podcast. He has taken his stand-up across the country, with his 2019 tour being memorialized in his comedy special, “Chris Gethard: Half My Life.” Aside from his comedy, Gethard has been featured on TV shows including “The Office,” “Broad City,” “Parks and Recreation,” films such as “The Other Guys” and was one of the stars of Mike Birbiglia’s “Don’t Think Twice.” Gethard also wrote and starred in the HBO special “Career Suicide.” He is the published author of six books: “Weird NY,” “A Bad Idea I’m About to Do,” “Lose Well,” “Dad on Pills,” “The Lonely Dad Conversations” and “Dad at Peace.”
