About

Chris Cagle is exciting his country music and Southern rock fans during his tour through the United States in 2014. In fact, tickets have already sold out for some of his concerts, which feature his down-to-earth connection with his audience, funny stories, and many of his top hits. Concert attendees will laugh, cry, and rock to his songs. His first album, Play It Loud, came out in 2000 and achieved great success. The hit song “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs, helping Play It Loud achieve gold-record status in 2002. His 2003 self-titled album was certified gold as well and reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums, and the hit singles “What a Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It" reached Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, on the US Hot Country Songs chart.

In 2004, Cagle was diagnosed with vocal cord problems that forced him to rest his voice for several months. He worked on his album Anywhere But Here (2005), which continued to showcase his hard country-rock style, and it was another smashing success. In 2008, Cagle released his fourth studio album, My Life’s Been a Country Song. It debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, with the single “What Kinda Gone” peaking at No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. In 2010, The album Back in the Saddle was issued in 2012 and peaked at No. 6 on the Top Country Albums chart. Fans will be able to hear his Top 15 single “Got My Country On” and other favorite songs highlighting his unique blend of country and rock during his tour. Everyone attending his concerts will enjoy his humorous anecdotes and the openness he shares with the crowd.

Awesome show! Jerry Snow LOL! Chris took a fans camera and videoed himself with a fan singing to her on stage. His comeback is looking great! Love hearing musicians from my home state of Louisiana.

Chris Cagle at the Texas Club was so much fun! I loved the way he interacted with the crowd and how he really cared about what we wanted to hear! He was also a great performer! He sounded just as good live as he does on his cd! I would definitely suggest going to see him again!

Concert started too late! Technical issues kept occurring. Chris started talking about his kids and family too much.

  • Worth the wait!

Chris Cagle was originally scheduled for April 29th and I was so excited!!! Then closer to time I found out that the concert was rescheduled for October 14th. I was like "oh man that's a long time to see him!" But once I was there and saw the concert it was so worth the wait!!!! He's very audience oriented which is awesome!

Great venue for an amazing band. Nice up close with dance floor behind. Staff could have been nicer but we all know that can be a frustrating job. Over all it was amazing.

    by zed10 on 2/9/11Grizzly Rose - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Even with no new songs out the concert was amazing! He is quite the entertainer who knew how to keep the crowd involved, enthused, and hollering for more. A great show, highly recommended!

  • It was okay, kind of disappointed

This is the 3rd time I have seen Chris Cagle in concert and I know what a great performer he is and would give amazings to each of his 2 previous shows I have seen. What happened this time is that I couldn't hear him - the music was turned way up, but not him. The 2 friends I was with were not as familiar with his music and couldn't understand most of what was being said/sang. I think it must have been his own sound people screwing up as the opening band had no problems. You could see that it was frustrating Chris as well, he kept gesturing to his sound people and messing with his ear pieces. BUT, other than the sound it was a good show, played all the great songs and entertained very well. He was genuinely happy to be at the Grizzly Rose and performing in Denver. I love his music and was so excited to be there and see him again and other than the sound, was happy.

Chris Cagle charged too much per ticket for the performance he put on. I ended up leaving early because there was more talking than singing going on and he came on late. I will not attend another concert of his. I do respect that he is talented and can sing but when $60 is spent for two tickets online, not to mention the drinks bought while there, I expect to get my money's worth.
