Chris Cagle is exciting his country music and Southern rock fans during his tour through the United States in 2014. In fact, tickets have already sold out for some of his concerts, which feature his down-to-earth connection with his audience, funny stories, and many of his top hits. Concert attendees will laugh, cry, and rock to his songs. His first album, Play It Loud, came out in 2000 and achieved great success. The hit song “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs, helping Play It Loud achieve gold-record status in 2002. His 2003 self-titled album was certified gold as well and reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums, and the hit singles “What a Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It" reached Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, on the US Hot Country Songs chart.
In 2004, Cagle was diagnosed with vocal cord problems that forced him to rest his voice for several months. He worked on his album Anywhere But Here (2005), which continued to showcase his hard country-rock style, and it was another smashing success. In 2008, Cagle released his fourth studio album, My Life’s Been a Country Song. It debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, with the single “What Kinda Gone” peaking at No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. In 2010, The album Back in the Saddle was issued in 2012 and peaked at No. 6 on the Top Country Albums chart. Fans will be able to hear his Top 15 single “Got My Country On” and other favorite songs highlighting his unique blend of country and rock during his tour. Everyone attending his concerts will enjoy his humorous anecdotes and the openness he shares with the crowd.
He was great. The opening acts were great as well. We got to do a meet and greet with him and another band at the end of the show. Was very awesome.
It was my 1st time at Wild Bills. Loved it. It was Great. Chris Cagle was wonderful. He put on Great Heartwarming show for everyone.I an everyone that I was with had a blast! Yes I would recommend Wild Bills to anyone who wants to have a night out. And if you get a chance to see Chris Cagle in concert it will be money well spent. Chris you are Pure Country if I ever heard it.
Show was amazing!!!!! Had a freaking blast! Got to meet and great with Craig Campbell he was so sweet! He also put on a great show! Chris Cagle was awesome! Loved that he got so emotional when the crowd cheered so loudly for him! He is awesome!
I went to see Chris Cagle and was disappointed on how lame the performance was. He is too insecure about his stage presence that it really affected the show for me. He needs to get in shape and come out on stage like the tiger I think he is. I love him to death and was really prepared to rock out, and ended up getting a G rated showing
Chris Cagle has got his country on! His concert was totally awesome and I will go back ! Thank You Texas Club for bringing Chris Cagle to Louisiana !
Well being a Caglehead fan! He is just completely awesome! I wouldn't have missed him for anything. He is always great entertainment! He is a genuine down home entertainer, who does not seem to forget where he came from. He is a lot of fun to watch perform also, Glad he is back. Chris I would FOLLOW ANYWHERE!! B
Awesome :) I would definitely see Chris again!!!!!
Great venue and a great opportunity to enjoy a wonderful intimate show with Chris Cagle. The opener was very good as well.
It's amazing to see and hear this talent on the country music scene yet again. The Auburn Performing Arts Center is a very intimate setting, yet Chris Cagle treats it as if is the largest stadium venue. He knows how to get the crowd into letting go and enjoying themselves.
Enjoyed Chris's visit to the Northwest, haven't seen him since he was last here and played in Yakima, nearly 10 years ago. Hope we don't have to wait that long for him to return. Chris is original his stories and great sense of humor make him a class act.
I loved the way he let the small venue feeling show and he really made everyone feel great
Loved him, but didn't know he had 2 openers in front of him. Didn't stay for his whole show. :( cause I had a couple party poopers with me!
not a bad show, Kipp didn't sing long enough . Too many drunks, and smokers. people need to smoke only in designated areas.
The overall Contryfest was a hit, but I have got to say, it was dissapointing to see Darryl Worley get up and sing just a few songs when the previous acts got up and sang quite a bit more....and they weren't all that good! I would of prefered to do away with one of the openers and have allowed Darryl to sing 5 or 6 more of hit Hits! But, all in all, a ton of fun!
All the acts were great. Chris Cagle was awesome as always. He never disappoints.
I loved the concert! Great music and lots of fun!!
I'm really glad that they finally brought CountryFest back after several year hiatus, but I wish they still did the concerts at either Portland Meadows or St. Helens like they used to do. That being said, the music itself was very good of course, given the lineup. And the possibilities for next year's lineup is even better. Two downsides: 1) The drunks in the crowd were a bit much to take for family entertainment. 2) There were times when one of the headline bands would be starting up on the main stage but the local band was still playing on the secondary stage. They needed to work out the timing better so the two groups weren't stepping on each other.
Not only was the dancehall large and very accommodating, Chris Cagle was incredible. The dance floor in this dancehall was awesome! I loved it. We had balcony seats with a perfect view of the stage. After three years of retirement I half expected Chris Cagle to be a little stale on the performance side, but he did an amazing job. The band was great & Chris Cagles voice was as strong as ever. Every song he played was great. I particularly enjoyed his new unreleased song "Something That Wild." overall, I would recommend seeing Chris Cagle live to anyone, as well as Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio. :) We had the time of our lives.
Great concert... Loved all the music, and was not disappointed in the performance at all! Would definitely catch him in concert again the next time he comes thru!
the performance was great. there was alot of people there enjoying the show.
