CHRIS BOTTI IN CONCERT:

Trumpet virtuoso Chris Botti has made a lasting impression on his audiences ever since his first touring gig with Frank Sinatra in the '80s. The trumpeter's style and grace can't be matched as he fills the room with the sounds of his 1939 Handcraft brass trumpet, spellbinding audiences with the instrument's rich tones. The Grammy Award winner has played with a number of legendary artists including Sting and Andrea Bocelli, captivating audiences with signature hits like "Regroovable" alongside classics like "Ave Maria." Chris Botti never fails to disappoint, and he's sure to take fans on a musical journey they won't soon forget with his string of 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Influenced by his mother's musical background, Chris Botti began playing the trumpet at age nine, but it wasn't until he heard the classic Miles Davis track "My Funny Valentine" several years later that he decided to pursue a career in music. During his senior year at Indiana University, Botti toured with Frank Sinatra, which led to a number of gigs with famous artists like Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin and Natalie Cole. Since then, he's released ten studio albums — seven have reached Top 10 spots on the Billboard Jazz chart — and sold three million records. He's also been the host of the radio show Chill With Chris Botti and performed with the Boston Pops Orchestra alongside John Mayer, Josh Groban, and Yo-Yo Ma. Back on the road in 2014, the trumpet virtuoso is set to captivate fans on his highly anticipated world tour.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Chris Botti and his group are the best of the best in the arena of ultra-talented musicians. Of course the handsome man with the horn never lets his audience down. Even though he performs 300 days a year, he gives the audience his all as though it's one show just for them."

"Not only does Chris Botti shine with his talents, he has top notch musicians and a singer to make it an overall outstanding, entertaining evening. ...will definitely try to see the next show!"

"Chris Botti was charming in relating to the audience, and put on a spectacular display of musicianship. He's one of, if not the best, at his craft."

We saw Chris Botti last year , but, this time was even better , I love how he has so many new guests and lets them perform while he enjoys and watches as we do. He gives credit to them all. The seats were great, no one in front of me lol , and the performances were Top Notch !!!, Loved It !!!! Will surely be seeing these amazing performances again!

by Greergirl on 9/19/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Chris Botti is an amazing artist and generous to audience, musicians, singer/ song writers. We booked The Blue Note in December to see him again in an intimate setting. Can't wait!

  • My first time feeling the sound of Miles Davis

by Karey on 9/18/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I am very happy I got to see Chris Botti. His style clearly reminds me of the American Jazz Legend, Miles Davis: the sound, the stance, the coolness and connectivity to the trumpet. I have been listening to Smooth Jazz when I arrived to New York for dental school at Columbia University 23 years ago, listening to CD 101.9 FM. My greatest regards to Chris Botti and thank you for this moment of what legendary jazz sounded like.

  • Botti is the best, female vocalist not optimal

by Fi on 9/18/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Botti and band were awesome. Did not prefer the female vocalist...her voice was too baby-ish/shrieking ...heshad much better femaLe singers

  • Good but disjointed.

by delapena on 9/18/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Chris Botti is a master trumpeter and consummate showman, but the show at BergenPac was chaotic and lacked the "X"factor. Also, the sound system at BergenPac could be better. Overall, the performance had its moments, but it did not compare with Botti's performances I have seen in the past.

  • Botti is the Best

by AnnL on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Chris Botti's concert would have been fabulous if he had played alone. He did not - he brought an incredibly talented violinist, Caroline Campbell as well as an exciting singer and superb keyboard player , drummer and guitar . The concert was just tremendous. I have seen him five times and this one was the best - WOW

  • A DISAPPOINTMENT

by BONNIE on 7/28/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The musicians were excellent, but a lot of the selections were too extreme for my taste. In addition although we were in center balcony, the sound was extremely loud and detracted from our enjoyment of the music. A few selections were good and the violinist was exceptional as Chris was when he performed with her. When I have seen or heard him before it was more a traditional type of music and that's what I expected to enjoy.

  • Mesmerizing

by ccRider on 7/27/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Our third time seeing Mr. Botti. His latest group of musicians were absolutely stunning. From guest violinist, Caroline and others we were mesmerized. A wonderful night to remember. The venue was a gem !

  • Beautiful!!

by Maggie on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Great concert, as usual for Chris Botti. Loved all the arrangements. Loved the violinist and the saxophonist and the singer…I can’t remember the names, but they were all great!

  • It was incredible!

by Jax on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Great venue, easy parking, and the show was spectacular. So sad Chris Botti didn’t have any merchandise to buy tho….

  • What a treat!

by Milwculture appreciation on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I knew very little about this artist before getting tickets, but so happy I did: backup band was awesome as were the guest artists. Botti was so engaging and human, as well as a consumate professional. Show exceeded my expectations.

  • World class experience

by Annie on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Chris and all the performing musicians were excellent. All superior talents. The beautifully renovated Warner Theater was the perfect venue for this music as well.

  • Awe Struck

by Pbxcomm on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

In my 69 years I’ve been to too many concerts to mention. This one however is a memorable one as one if not the best concert I’ve attended. Thank you Chris Botti for an evening of music I’ll not forget

  • Bummer!

by Nancy on 7/26/23Rating: 1 out of 5

We paid hundreds of dollars to hear Chris Botti!!! We went to a concert of his in Orlando that was awesome, but this was NOT! He played maybe 15% and had other members playing the other 85%… I didn’t pay to listen to 20 minutes of a drummer, or 30 minutes of electrical guitarists, etc.. I paid to hear the Trumpet!! The violinist was a saving grace, but I would never have bought tickets had I realized it would be this mediocre of a concert. He said he was taking a break after this concert, so maybe he was just burned out and didn’t care… But that wasn’t fair to us!

  • Fabulous concert!

by KayJ on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Chris Botti is fabulous! I’ve been to several of his shows and every single one has been incredible. His band and guest artists are all top-notch. He also makes his shows fun by interacting with the band, guest performers, and audience. Please keep booking him in Milwaukee. The new symphony center was the perfect venue..

  • singers and violin player

by Patricia on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The violin player played with such enthusiasm. She was excellent, and I wish I knew the name of the lady who wore the blue dress. She has so much energy. She got the crowd involved. We so enjoyed her.
