CHRIS BOTTI IN CONCERT:
Trumpet virtuoso Chris Botti has made a lasting impression on his audiences ever since his first touring gig with Frank Sinatra in the '80s. The trumpeter's style and grace can't be matched as he fills the room with the sounds of his 1939 Handcraft brass trumpet, spellbinding audiences with the instrument's rich tones. The Grammy Award winner has played with a number of legendary artists including Sting and Andrea Bocelli, captivating audiences with signature hits like "Regroovable" alongside classics like "Ave Maria." Chris Botti never fails to disappoint, and he's sure to take fans on a musical journey they won't soon forget with his string of 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Influenced by his mother's musical background, Chris Botti began playing the trumpet at age nine, but it wasn't until he heard the classic Miles Davis track "My Funny Valentine" several years later that he decided to pursue a career in music. During his senior year at Indiana University, Botti toured with Frank Sinatra, which led to a number of gigs with famous artists like Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin and Natalie Cole. Since then, he's released ten studio albums — seven have reached Top 10 spots on the Billboard Jazz chart — and sold three million records. He's also been the host of the radio show Chill With Chris Botti and performed with the Boston Pops Orchestra alongside John Mayer, Josh Groban, and Yo-Yo Ma. Back on the road in 2014, the trumpet virtuoso is set to captivate fans on his highly anticipated world tour.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Chris Botti and his group are the best of the best in the arena of ultra-talented musicians. Of course the handsome man with the horn never lets his audience down. Even though he performs 300 days a year, he gives the audience his all as though it's one show just for them."
"Not only does Chris Botti shine with his talents, he has top notch musicians and a singer to make it an overall outstanding, entertaining evening. ...will definitely try to see the next show!"
"Chris Botti was charming in relating to the audience, and put on a spectacular display of musicianship. He's one of, if not the best, at his craft."

Great bang for the buck. Very enjoyable evening! Thought Renee Olstead would appear with Chris.
I have always admired Chris Botti’s talent, and had the unique opportunity to meet him a couple of weeks ago on Sunset Blvd while he was having sushi and saki a couple tables away from mine. I excitedly went home that night and looked to see when he would be performing next in LA. I was so happy when I discovered it was so soon at the Greek Theatre. This would be my first time to hear him live! Last night, I was blown away! His music pulled at my heart strings. I could have listened all night. Not only is his musical performance enchanting but he has a way of charming the audience with his sense of humor and beautiful speaking voice. I will definitely make an effort to hear him perform again. Hopefully, at the Fabulous Fox in St. Louis, my home town.
The evening was chilly but the sound was passionately straightforward providing a keepsake of unforgettable warmth. All you need do was close your eyes and drift away to serenity. The entire performance was evidence of grace, praise, collaboration, communication, positive emotions throughout. Most enjoyable evening spent in all my trips to the Greek over the past years. Felt as if I had gone to Italy in person for the two songs that the violinist participated in, incredible sound!
Chris Botti is an amazingly unselfish performer. He band is incredible and did he best to showcase their talents. This is a sign of a truly gifted and confident performer. It's refreshing to see a great artist give opportunities to other great artists in these days of self preservation. Let's all learn to play an instrument and be like Chris Botti!
amazing! best concert ever! i loved how unique and entertaining the music was.
The show was great but I wish he played a few of his old pieces because those are the ones I fell in love with.
Excellent show, nice place, beautiful night, i will go again.
This was a great concert with a good mix of jazz and ballads.
What more can I say? I wish the concert went on for another 2 hours. His band was tight and Sy Smith was excellent. She should be Chris' opening act. Showmanship of Chris and his band was also excellent.
Chris Botti is amazing! He is gorgeous, which makes the show even more wonderful. His musical talents are astounding--I so enjoyed watching him play and he really engaged with the audience. The musical guests were GREAT as well---and John Mayer showed up for one of Chris Botti's encore songs! How amazing is that!! I highly recommend seeing Chris Botti in concert and I cannot wait until he returns to Los Angeles again!
What a great experience. Beautiful venue, amazing music. A few microphone issues which were quickly corrected, but other that, incredible performances by all involved.
THE CHRIS BOTTI CONCERT WAS THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER SEEN. I ENJOYED ALL THE ARTISTS PERFORMANCES. I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED WITH THE TRUMPET PLAYING.
