Wonderful surprise!
by SisterMKerry on 7/16/09Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasI took two children to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, not anticipating too much for myself, but it was a delight. Very well staged; the children were both so unpretentious on stage . . . but with great voices and presence. Absolutely loved "The Reveal" of the automobile . . . good sound, too, throughout. I could always appreciate dispensing with the few off-color, too mature innuendos . . . not sure what we fear will happen to a production without them. Is there some genre of ticket holder that simply cannot make it through a performance without something titillating or "raunchy," as my dear mum used to say? I did enjoy the performance tremendously. Thank you for it.
