About

Chicago, at first dubbed The Chicago Transit Authority, immediately stood out due to their unique, horn-driven instrumentation and top-notch songwriting, a combination that quickly found a home on  free-form FM radio in the late '60s. After 45-plus years in business, Chicago's music has never left the airwaves and the band remains on tour more often than not, playing concerts in every corner of North America. With a catalog of hits  including "Saturday in the Park," "Beginnings," "If You Leave Me Now," "Baby What a Big Surprise," "You're the Inspiration," and "Hard Habit To Break," fans are always eager to snap up tickets to catch one of the most successful American rock bands in history. Four members of the group's current lineup -- vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Robert Lamm and horn section members Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider -- date back to Chicago's formation in 1967. Even today, the band isn't just about nostalgia; Chicago continues to record new singles and albums regularly.

The group performed every song I wanted to hear. Neill Donell's vocals were outstanding. The brass was perfect! Best concert I've been to in ages!

  • Great music and a great experience.

by Mad Mac on 11/14/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Chicago the band at Mershon Auditorium in Columbus Ohio. Our first time at this venue but it was very nice. Parking was a block away so very convenient. Chicago delivered an amazing performance. They are old pros and their stage presence and command of the instruments and vocals reflected their experience. They are amazing performers and certainly gave the impression that they enjoyed performing as much as the audience did. I would highly recommend Chicago and would attend another event at Mershon Auditorium sometime. It was a great evening for me my lady.

  • Unbelievable performance

by Jenn C. on 11/13/25UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 5 out of 5

Chicago blew me away with their album like sound. Played all their hits. Seeing them in a small venue just enhanced the event. The lead had amazing range & pure vocals. Ten piece band with three piece horn section. They are not to be missed!

  • Exceptional!!

by Dee on 11/12/25Mershon Auditorium - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Chicago puts on the best show ever! If you like music that showcases really talented musicians then this show is hard to beat. I think the band played their entire catalogue of music - 60's, 70's, 80's. The graphics was outstanding. This was my third time seeing this band - the previous time was with Earth Wind and Fire. But Chicago certainly held their own all by themselves - no other act was needed to support this fantastic show. I'll continue to support this group as long as they continue to tour.

My wife and I really enjoyed the concert. Chicago was amazingly good (vocals and instruments) and we loved the intimacy of Mershon Auditorium.

  • Awesome Show!

by Scotty on 11/12/25Rating: 5 out of 5

We had seats in Section 1, in the 2nd row B from the stage seats 1 & 2, that's the closest We have ever sat from the stage. All the songs in the set list were perfect, it was like listening to the record, just awesome!

  • Still Awesome After All These Years

by Ron on 11/12/25MGM Northfield Park - Center Stage - NorthfieldRating: 5 out of 5

Chicago continues to perform with enthusiasm and a great reverence for their music. Their line-up has changed over the years and was disappointed that Pankow and Lamm were not part of the concert, but it was still fabulous. Will continue to support them They are great.

Awesome time in Columbus, Ohio from easy parking to an excellent quick supper at a restaurant located across the street from the venue to the concert itself. Chicago is epic!
